“Great resort - wish I could stay longer...”
I loved this resort. It was an easy drive from the airport (and would not have cost much by taxi). I travelled on my own and loved the care I got. I felt very comfortable around the resort. I booked a sea view room which was spacious, and gave me a lovely view to wake up to each morning. Staff were extremely helpful and the spa treatments very relaxing.

Only drawback beach on the resort was disappointing but private with warm waters. Other much more beautiful beaches though a short distance away.

“Very impressive hotel”
What a fantastic resort, you have the Rain Forest at the back and the Adaman Sea at the front, with amazing wildlife literally outside your room, Eagles, Monkeys etc. The staff are extreemly friendly and helpful the only possible negative, where that the poolside cocktails were so strong - you had to sleep them off in the afternoon !

i think it's good if you consider using a running water for the toilet in the bathtroom with the toilet paper .
“Excellent Servce, Facilities and Location”
Having stayed for two weeks at the Sheraton Langkawi I found myself saying after a long day touring/shopping "let's go home" with "home" being the Sheraton. We visited other resorts on Langkawi Island but the cost value of staying at the Sheraton, its proximity and facilities is unsurpassed. The many restaurants (grill, buffet, poolside, high tea; international, snacks in lobby, 24-hour room service menu) serve delicious food for all ethnic groups (Halal) - Western, Japanese, European, Malay, Middle Eastern, Chinese, Indian). I would highly recommend hiring a car (airport touters excellent) to be able to circumnavigate the entire island and have freedom without time contraints. A pleasant and easy 15min drive (south) to the main shopping centre of Kuah Town; 10mins (north) to Telaga Harbour then Cable Car/Oriental Village; 20mins (north east) to secluded, safe, sandy swimming beaches; 20mins (east) to the Kilim Mangrove tours; and nightly local markets held at different locations. The Sheraton Langkawi has all the hallmarks of a 5-star resort - tropical gardens, pool and beach swimming, fitness centre, magnificent views of the Andaman Sea, free internet 45mins/day, palatial entrance and lobby, courteous and efficient staff everwhere, comfortable spotless rooms, "dial a cart" anytime to drive you from your room to the lobby for example (the place is huge!), and lots of peaceful, quiet places to sit and relax. I would definitely make the Sheraton Langkawi our "home" again.
“Lovely hotel”
This hotel was extremely welcoming and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. We only stayed three nights but wished we had longer to enjoy all the attractions of the hotel and the island. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to others.
“Excellent Hotel”
Had the beaches to myself in Feb and the location is brilliant. You get about 3/4 beaches, with the largest not having access to the water. You really do feel in paradise. The rooms are 4* and not 5 but you probally won't spend too long in there. Only 10 mins from the airport and 15mins from the cable car and waterfall.

Very nice hotel located 15 mins from airport. Nice service I recommend this hotel a lot especially for honeymooners
“Would stay there again”
Hotel was very good. Cleaning our beach side room was rather late in the afternoon. Breakfast buffet was excellent but a bit pricey. Would stay here again. The people working at the hotel were very friendly and very accomodating.
