“Value for money, one of the best my wife & I have been to.”
Spacious. Big breakfast choice. Right on the sea. Pleasant walking distance to shops & restaurants. Intend returning soon, with grandchildren.
“loved it”
great location great breakfasts friendly helpful staff good entertainment
“Great Hotel”
This really is a great hotel within a fantastic location. The staff are very friendly. Abit busy at the main pool but there is another one hidden behind the indoor pool. The food was ok - not great but considering they were catering for a few hundred there was plenty to choose from. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful holiday!
“Great Value!!!”
Loved the location and value of this place! Only complaint was spotty wifi and the lack of an ironing board and iron. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel!!!
“birthday celebration”
much improved hotel since last stayed 2years ago.pool bar and surrounding patio area opened for drinks and snacks througout day and introduction of HAPPY HOUR between17.00-18.00
“fings aint what they used to be, still good value”
10 years ago everything seemed new and we had a fridge, the indoor pool was at no extra cost. Now the same carpet is on the floor and few chips out of funiture are obvious. Lack of staff at the pool bar, one waiter is a big set back. Main bar only open at night, the star rating is now 3. That said the Lobby and interior is still at least 4 star. It is on a very good beach, easy reach centre town and the new marina. Disapointed due to old memories, but still extremely good value
“Excellent”
Had a fantastic 3 night break at this very friendly hotel, with good facilities, and great location.
“fantastic location”
We stayed in room 119 from 11th June to 18th. The room had a very nice view of the port and beach. It had a large balcony and was in a quiet position. The room itself was probably newly decorated and had a seperate toilet. We did feel as though the room was not cleaned as well as it should have been. The hotel itself was good and the restaurant was light and airey and you could sit outside if you wished. The food was the same as any 3/4 star spanish hotel a little on the bland side. Although the pool was not heated you were able to swim in it. In order to get an umbrella you did have to put a towel on the loungers first thing. They could have more umbrellas as there were'nt enough to go round. Just a short walk towards the sea through the gardens was the promanade which if you went left took you to the newly built marina which was lovely with some nice restaurants. If you went right you came across the beach and beach bar which was very nice to have a drink/cocktail in the evening. If you carried on past the beach you come to the resort of Playa with bars and shops. I thought all in all our hotel was in one of the best positions as was the Yaiza hotel next door which was on the upmarket side, but did look very nice. I would definetely recommend this hotel.
“Good choice for a relaxing break”
A decent level of accommodation in a great location. Well placed for the Marina Rubicon or the town - each a short walk away on the prominade directly accessible from the rear of the hotel. Quite a sprawling property, with two main pool areas. Easy to find a sun bed even in high season. A few add ons I would not have expected from a 4* property like charging for the room safe and 20 euros a head for the Pitch and Putt seemed very high though it did look a pretty well maintained facility. Breakfast selection quite good, including a constant supply of freshly made pancakes, selection of cooked items. and all the usual continental selection you'd expect. Food from pool bar very average. Drink prices not bad considering you are in a hotel so that was a nice break. There was also evening entertainment which I caught 10 minutes of one night - seemed to be a better standard then I remember from in hotel entertainment in years gone by. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a break to Playa Blanca. Had a great, really realaxing time.
“Good location and comfortable”
Good location in Playa Blanca. Hotel a little dated, but comfortable. Staff OK, though reception tried to charge me (again) for the room when i arrived, despite that i had paid alreday when I booked.

Area:
Playa Blanca, Yaiza, Spain: The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the islands finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
