we have been to cyprus many times now and have stayed at many hotels. Have wanted to stay at the Asterias due to it's great location on the beach but could never find it in brochures so was really pleased when i found it on expedia, so decided not to return to the hotel we have stayed in on our last 3 visits to cyprus.Decided that we must break away and give it a go and we were so glad we did.Were more than pleased with everything the hotel offered, we would definately return and i would recommend this hotel to family and friends. Again great location on a great beach.Food was always good and plentiful and my husband is a head chef. Good for couples, families, all ages.
“Easter Break Away”
Had a lovely time here at Asterias. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good happy hour, nice buffet, two good pools. Easy taxi into town for the nightlife.
“Friendly service in a modest hotel”
Located out from the main resort with easy access to ammenities.What the hotel lacks in modernity it more than makes up for in service and in the quality of the food. Small enough to be firendly large enough to accomodate its clients. A multi cultural hotel. Hotel run kids club okay but more relaxed than those run by the tour operators and lacked a little structure but the kids were happy.
“Nice Venue - Shambolic Staff”
The location is good - right on the beach, but a 25 walk into town. Hire scooters. Staff seem baffled by simple questions. Our flight was very early so we asked when our room would be ready. Staff were perplexed. Took them ages to figure out we had 3 rooms even though we showed them confirmations. Didn't really detract from stay - just funny. Food pretty average.
