“Good hotel, good food, good service.”

Food was nice, only news as far as english tv goes, but otherwise great.

“Our third visit”

Our particular room No106 was noisy due to entertainment music downstairs. Dinner was good but there was a poor selection of desserts ie repetitive.

“Rated as 4 Star... 3 Star at best.”

Having decided to spend our first Christmas ever abroad we looked forward to the festivities in Cyrus but were disappointed with the Pavolon Apa Hotel. The Christmas dinner was a bitter diappointment with only a dozen or so people attending. The meal was aweful, tinned vegetables and the Turkey would have made ideal shoe leather material. The staff seemed to rescent being there and we were served with the waitress dressed in a track suit!! Even the dining room was being redecorated whilst we ate. Being out of season we did not expect full facilities but even the Pool side chairs were covered and fastened with chains. The chairs that people did manage to uncover were packed up again at night so they could not be used, pity as the weather during the day was very good, no thought for us Brits and the entertainment was only 2 nights. Bedrooms are ready for refurbishment and plastic cups in the bathroom are not what I would call 4 Star. Our first night was very cold as the heating/aircon unit did not function. This was rectified the following day. Overall an expensive let down.
