“Best place to stay if you have a car rented.”
Best place to stay if you have a car ranted. Walking distant from Strip and you can stay out of the traffic jam,
“I'd stay there again.”
This hotel is actually a time share. Although, there was no pressure to attend a meeting and it wasn't even mentioned to me except by a cab driver. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very nice. I didn't use the pool or hot tub since it was December. my only complaint is that they didn't clean our room one day, but we were there for 7 days so that's not too bad. We were only a block away from the strip and it was very quiet.
“A Rose in the desert!”
The small complex was exactly what I expected. It was a ten minute walk to the main strip, so easily walkable. The security was excellent, we had swipe cards to get in and out, of the buildings and the pool area. We thought it was excellent value for money and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen. too. Breakfast was basic but there was plenty there and a bonus, as in all of the hotels there you normally pay for it . We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it.
“Love this place”
This is my second trip that I have stayed at Desert Rose. I will definitely be back. The suites are great! Spacious, clean and most important PRIVATE.
“We'd stay here again”
Just off the strip within walking distance to the strip. We were really pleased with the hotel. Our room was recently renovated and had brand new appliances (full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher). The kitchen had everything you could possibly need - including a blender, mixer, coffee-maker, kettle and toaster. The bonus is that you don't have to walk through a huge casino to get to your room. We enjoyed the pool and the complimentary breakfast. The cocktail hour from 5:00-7:00 pm was great too - free wine or beer for guests.
“small and friendly hotel right next to vegas action”
The Desert Rose Hotel is an ideal base for exploring Las Vegas situated at one end of the strip near to the airport and near to the monarail which travels up and down the strip. The hotel rooms are fantastic and have every thing you need for a self catering holiday. The pool is lovely only small compared to the big strip hotels but it felt more friendly.I would definatly use tis hotel again.
“Will definately go back”
Hotel was clean and located close to strip. We had car to get supplies but walked to strip most days---not bad walk at all. No problem with parking.Pool was large, chairs/lounges had cushions and area was clean. Daily breakfast was good--same every day (eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit,yogurt)---free.Staff was friendly. We requested sheets for pull-out bed since we had none and received them within 10 minutes at 10PM.Check-in and -out was quick and easy. Managers reception was laid back, nothing fancy, but nice chance to meet other people.Full kitchen was nice--saved money on meals!!Housekeeping was great--very courteous, always had clean towels, clean room.
“Desert Rose, Quality Hotel”
The Desert Rose Resort Hotel is Las Vegas best kept secret, at a fraction of the cost of the larger and more well known Vegas hotels Desert Rose can match up to any of them, as it is not a gambling Hotel you can relax in a well equipted room which includes a full kitchen complete with dishwasher and daily maid service, without all the hustle and noise of its neighbours, Vegas is very expensive so we went Wallmart and stocked up the fridge with food and drink etc, this made our holiday better as we could lounge around the pool during the day have lunch and drinks in the room and hit the glitz and glamour in the evening, we took in a few shows and we had a ' Buffet ' at the Statosphere I have never seen a better selection of food in my life and the quality was second to none. The Desert Rose also offers it guests a free breakfast each morning and a happy hour from 5 - 7pm Monday to Thursday were the drinks are free,Close to the airport it is only 10 dollars in a taxi for your transfers, you can easily walk to the strip in approx 5 mins.I will be booking again to stay at the Desert Rose so if you have doubts, please put them to rest as you will not be disappointed with this place.
“Very pleased with this hotel”
Staff were constantly helpful with any aspect. The buffet breakfast included in the price was one of the best we've had for a buffet breakfast with lots of choice. Location was just off the strip, possibly about 6 or 7 minutes walk, but this meant the location was quieter than being right on the strip. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
