The 30,000-square-foot casino features a Calendar Girl blackjack section, slot machines, table games, a poker room, and a sports book.
Pool Bar is inspired by a bar on the Bahamian island of Abaco.
Overlooking the pool complex, Porch Dogs is a casual indoor/outdoor beach club and restaurant with garage doors and live music.

An outdoor pool measuring 44 x 40 feet and an 80-foot-long freeform pool are open seasonally. The pool complex's sundeck and sand area are furnished with cushioned wood lounge chairs. A fitness center provides weights and cardio and strength-training machines.
The South Seas-themed Bali Hai Golf Club is 4.5 miles away, and the 18-hole courses at Desert Pines Golf Club and Royal Links Golf Club are both within 10 miles.
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, 22 miles away, provides rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives. Mount Charleston, 43 miles away, has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding.

“Hotel I would go back to”
I really enjoyed staying here, the room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. the hotel is situated just one block from the strip near MGM, NY NY etc. and the service was really good. For the price and location I would definetly stay here again.

I'm usually not the one to make positive comments on nearly anything, however, I felt compelled to do so after my stay here. The entire staff did a great job of making me and my friends feel right at home. I've never felt so good during a hotel stay. The restaurant selection was great. Marino's restaurant was excellent. The Hooters girls were very quick to bring a cocktail anytime I sat down to a table or slot machine. The location is great, with quick access to the monorail, and one block from the strip. I've only been to Vegas once, but I can't imagine staying anywhere else.
“Best beds in the world!!!!!”
first the beds were amazingly comfortable......... bar staff was awesome, great service and smiles........ the only down fall was the mini fridges. for some reason they aren't available. :(
“HO HO Hooters”
Staff was very helpful (asking for directions, etc.) and friendly. Bed was very comfy. I would stay here again. The band at Porch Dogs was awesome, too!!

“a great place to stay”
BEST TIME in vegas so far , the staff kept the drinks coming ... never had to wait, "two fisted most of the time". Also drinks were not watered down . This casino is more intimate than your average casino which means, you cannot lose your spouse! The pool was open 24 hours, well maintained, and included a waterfall, and fire pits, for late night gathering /relaxing. There was always a subtle presence of security to handle any misconduct. Originally we were in a Tower room, but were told we could change to a poolside bungalow the next morning when the room was available. This was handled both promptly and professionally. Both rooms were clean, and ready for our arrival. I would reccommend the Tower for more mature guests that don't plan to mingle with the younger crowd that hangs out by the pool area. In my opinion, Las Vegas is not the place for children, however, if you are bringing a child, the hotel is equipped with 2 pools, and a large sandbox/beach area. Not only does this hotel have the best dressed staff, but they are polite, and in no way intimidating to the female guests(I can say that because I am a woman). The fact that this hotel isn't right on the strip, eliminates the trash/litter, and a heavy flow of strip traffic . If you're looking for a comfortable , affordable atmosphere, with great food, and great service...this is the place for you! We will return next year . brett n amber

This hotel was great. After reading the reviews, I didnt want to really book here, but decided to form my own opinion. The food at the Dam rest was ok, people were nice and friendly and I would not mind staying at this place again. I think the Hooters Hotel is a good deal
