“EXCEEDED BY EXPECTATIONS: GREAT VALUE, GOOD QUALITY, COMFORTABLE & CLEAN!”
Have stayed at ETAP & Travellodge et al type hotels in the past, but was not even familar with the Campanile product. It exceeded my expectations on all counts - the reception staff were friendly and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable & well equipped. It was fantastic value. The only criticism I could give is the size of their bath towel - fine for me, but my slighty rounder husband may have struggled! They had a bar and restuarant which I certainly had not expected (though I did not try either). Overall the quality of the product was excellent, tasteful decor and good quality fixtures and fittings and all was well maintained. I will definitely be booking there again when I go back soon.
“Leicester Campanile, would return”
I stayed for one night on business; and was quite happy with the stay; for the rate I paid on the room; no problems. If you want a reasonable room for not a great deal of money, you can do worse than here. I read negative reviews about traffic noise, however this is part and parcel of a hotel in a busy city centre. I found traffic noise no better or worse than other city centre hotels. In terms of the room itself, it was quite small but comfortable and clean, which is ultimately what's most important. The reception staff are also very good, which although a minor plus point does make a pleasant change! Location wise; it's about 10-15 mins walk from Highcross shopping centre and 5-10 mins from main bus stops. However if driving it's on the ring road so quite convenient!
“Definitely go back again”
Excellent value, clean comfortable. We had the full English breakfast, again good value Would go back again

“great value clean comfortable and pleasant service”
I stayed at the leicester hotel once previously and was impressed with the friendly staff, helpful service and quality of room for what is quite a cheap rate. The rooms are clean and comfortable with decent bathroom and shower. Whilst not spacious or flash you cant really expect any more for the price you pay. The only slight complaint I had this time round was that the car park was full for the duration of my stay meaning I had to park on the street but on my previous visit and on checking out there were plenty of places. The extended check out for only ten pounds more was great
“great value”
clean, tidy and just the job
“Nice hotel, excellent value for money”
Plenty of parking, room away from main road so nice and quiet. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was good. Hotel is a 10 min walk from main shops which was fine for us - excellent value for money.
“Good value hotel”
Good value hotel with adequate facilities for short stay, convenient for city centre, staff friendly, service good. Desk space limited for business use.
“Value for money”
A highly convenient place to stay if visiting the Musician which is less than 5 minutes easy walk away. Excellent value for money room, didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment.
“Great (but noisy)”
I thought this hotel was really lovely, and all the staff were great. However, I did find it really noisy at night with people walking down the corridors, talking loudly. There were at least a couple of large groups there on the night I stayed (a Saturday) and I am not really sure how you could address this. I guess I would just say avoid it if you are a light sleeper like me.
