“Great for Business Stay”
Just Stayed overnight for a fast business trip. Staff was friendly, Room service food was very good and fast. Hotel room was a good size. AC was loud - But would recommend hotel
“Relaxing break, just what we needed”
From the minute we checked in, the service was great and we were made to feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and very comfortable with a flat screen tv. We used the leisure centre for swimming, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi and it was all clean and user friendly. I would love to go back again. Breakfast was perfect - no complaints at all.
“Good for airport stop over”
Good for stopping after arriving on a late flight. Comfy room, I had been upgraded one level. Nice touch was fresh milk for inroom tea and coffee! Breakfast buffet excellent. Note: shuttle costs the same as a taxi £8pp and only runs til the evening anyway
“Pleasant hotel”
As long as you don't expect the London Hilton it's a pleasant hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant and breakfast was very good. Paying for the car parking was unusual but in fact payment was waived due to the computer being down on our checkout. Room rates very reasonable when booked through expedia.
“Very comfortable for a short stay”
For an overnight stay the hotel is very comfortable. I was pleased with the breakfast and the breakfast staff in particular were exceptionally friendly. A little disappointed that I was charged 5 pounds for overnight car parking, but at least it was secure. Would use again.

The hotel was convenient for what I wanted to do in the area. The room was fabulous and the swimming pool great. Children are well catered for and this was the reason I chose this hotel rather one of the six in the area. We had a meal in the lounge/bar area which was delicious and the children's meal was free. The only downside was the service at breakfast. Even though it was 8.30am no-one was at the greeter desk and we had to wait until she emerged from the bar area. Breakfast choice was very good. However there were no fried eggs already cooked and no-one behind the counter cooking them to order. In fact I never saw anyone during our 40mins there. We all opted for the scramled egg which was very nice but would have prefered a fried or poached egg. Waiter staff were chatting to each other just outside the breakfast room and only seemed to be clearing plates rather than offering service to anyone. The room deal was excellent so accepted the fact that I had to pay £5 a night to park my car (not a policy I'm very keen on and would sway my decision to which hotel I would choose).
“The hilton”
nice and clean, only reasons why it was not a 5/5 was that my room was a very tiny bit draughty and the hot water was scalding hot water and the cold water was hot water
“Good but could do better”
Hotel was comfortable and warm. Service OK. Bar area good but service very slow. Alot of the time there is only one person there and a lot of guests waiting. Drinks are also a bit pricey but I suppose that's hotels for you.
