"We stayed here for one night and had a mixed experience. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and it was nice to see that the property is beginning some remodeling efforts. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice addition and appreciated.
Unfortunately, the room itself had several issues. The bed was noticeably slanted, to the point that we ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed just to be comfortable. Cleanliness was also a concern. There was hair on the back of the toilet and on the bathroom floor, a smudge on the toilet seat, and what appeared to be a streak of dried period blood down the front of the toilet.
The exterior entrance wasn't much better. Mosquitoes were swarming around the back door, and the air conditioner from the floor above was dripping directly onto guests as they entered.
The shower had excellent water pressure, but it was almost too much—more like standing under a water park feature than a typical hotel shower.
There are some positives here, especially the friendly staff and breakfast, but the cleanliness and maintenance issues need attention before I would consider staying again."
