“Excellent position”

The hotel and staff were excellent - The buffet is good and ample - dont be confused by the request tab (for room service) it states 'continental breakfast incl (rolls, cakes, etc) but when you are seated in breafast area there is also a choice of bacon, eggs, sausage etc., The nearest metro station is only about 4mins away S. Sebastiao which links to the El Corte Store - You must go to the Oceanario - fantastic - hotel staff will give you directions for metro etc.,

This was a girly weekend and we were all very happy with the hotel. We were B&B and the buffet breakfast was superb.The rooms were spotless,a good size and nicely decorated.Check-in was easy and quick and the staff very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at this 5 star hotel. The staff all spoke good english and were more than helpful.Excellent breakfast buffet included in the price and free room safe and internet access. We ate one night in the restaurant which was excellent but more expensive than restaurants in Lisbon and there is also food available in the bar. We did feel the hotel location limited other places to eat locally as it was in a buisness area ,so this meant catching a tram into the city centre,which was cheap and easy.

“Good location”

The hotel was in a good spot close to the city centre and with plenty of near by public transport options. The airport bus brought us very close and there were also two other buses we could have used. There was a very convenient super market about 100m from the front door that was handy for buying drinks rather than use the hotel bars or minin bar. We enjoyed breakfast. There was excellent variety. Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

It was a sheer pleasure to be there. Staff were very courteous and most spoke English , too. Very helpful. Food was excellent and beautifully presented.

“Top quality hotel”

The rooms were exceptionally quiet compared to other hotels I have stayed in. This was particulary impressive as we were overlooking a busy road. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke very good english. They gave us useful recommendations and nothing was too much trouble.

Difficult to fault this hotel. The service and food were excellent and meal prices were very reasonable. Breakfast provided an excellent selection, although we never actually got to the full english as there was so much else to choose from. Dinner choice was from excellent light meals in the bar (superb burgers!) or full service in the restaurant - presentation and quality of service were great, Room was furnished to a good standard and quiet. We faced the street, but the standard of double glazing meant we heard no noise at all. Definitely one to go back to.
