“the best i ever stayed at”
this is a great hotel unless u are srait up picky i loved hotel it had pool hot tub me and my family loved it the desk clerk was great
“Nice room for low cost.”
The Howard Johnson is definitely an economy hotel. However, I have seen and stayed at much worse. When we first arrived I was a little worried because it seems a little outdated in the Lobby/dining/pool area. However we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was very nice. Had a nice TV and a super comfortable King sized bed. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. They offer a free continental breakfast that included a waffle machine to make your own waffles and bagels which we enjoyed. This hotel is also close to a Walmart and several restaurants. There is an indoor pool close to the Lobby. We didn't have our children on this trip but I thought the pool would be nice if we had brought them.
“Not Impressed”
This hotelis mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it. The bathrooms could be cleaner. The blankets and towels are as rough as sandpaper.
“Not bad, good price”
Hotel was a little dated, but clean and had all the little amenities that I like....coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator. Service was great. Nice indoor pool for the kids.
“Clean and friendly”
the hotel room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The inside of the hotel pool area was a blast from the past. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel that is clean, this is the place.
“OK”
The overall hotel stay was good but it had a rough beginning as when we got there my husband wanted to take a bath before bed and there was black hair all in the bathtub. He had to rinse it all out and decided he wouldn't take a bath he would just shower instead! The atmosphere of the hotel was nice and quiet and comfortable though - so just beware of the black hair!! haha
“Old Hotel”
While this hotel was not filthy it was an old hotel, mold in the shower.
“Dusty...”
There was dust on every surface in my room. I used one of the washcloths to wash down the desk, tv stand, and bedside table. It was black!
