“Would recommend”

Good location - easy to find from motorway and 15 mins walk into town centre along the Loire. Comfortable room (easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 children) and ideal for stop over travelling from south of France. Would definitely return.

“Excellent hotel”

After a 10 hour drive this was a fantastic hotel to arrive at. The parking is on site, the staff were extremely helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were too tired to venture into Orleans for dinner as planned so decided to use the hotel restaurant. This was a good decision as the food was delicious.The centre of Orleans is only a 10 minutes walk, tried and tested the following morning. We did not bother with breakfast as considered this a bit expensive. Overall this was an excellent hotel which I would recommend for a stay.

“Best choice in Orleans”

Not do close to the town center, but very confortable. Good pricing, mainly when breakfast is included. Internet Wi-Fi works fine. Staff attitude is the best. Very helpful.

“Excellent 'superior' room”

We had a good night at the hotel. Only a short walking distance along the Loire to the restaurant area. Good spacious room, and efficient service. We felt the breakfast was over-priced at 15€ - nothing out of the ordinary for a 'continental breakfast'. Good thing the room was air-conditioned - very warm night outside - pleasant inside.

“OK but...”

Difficult entrance to find as it is off a one way street which is itself hard to access. Restaurant service was very slow and inefficient even though there appeared to be plenty of staff. Also and one of the meals had been reheated as it was hot on outside but cool in the middle. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient.

“Good stop over hotel for journey south.”

The rooms were fine especially the triple that had 3 separate beds. The restaurant was OK, but eating in the old city is a better option with a large choice of restaurants in a very lively and interesting city. The breakfast was poor and very expensive. Overall a good stop over hotel on the journey south if a bit pricey. Good if you arrive in time to use the pool and have an evening out which we didn't due to bad traffic.

“Mercure in Orleans”

Arrived around 10pm and could only get a salad for dinner. Room was fine, clean and spacious, beds were comfortable

“Would stay there again”

We found all exactly as described, with the rooms and beds large and comfortable. The meal at Le Barentin across the road from the hotel was excellent. A very convenient stop on the long drive from London to the far south of France.
