“Apex City of London Hotel a hidden gem.”
From the initial welcome by the doorstaff to the greeting by reception this hotel delivers all the quality requirements. The guest is made very welcome in each first instance of interaction with all levels of staff - simply superb, the guest feels like a valued VIP returning to a trusted friend. Reception - efficient and elegant. Luggage porter - service is at hand- no need to ask. Restaurant and bar staff - efficient, friendly and excellent levels of customer skills and product knowledge, in addition to lovely food & wine on each occasion. Room service - professional, efficient - just right. Rooms, airy, light & well insulated from exterior noise, rooms have a level of luxury perfect for the busy traveller or leisure user. I suggest the addition of slippers for the tiled bathroom floors (winter stay)- but appreciate the additional cost, and perhaps a full length mirror for the fashion conscious.
“nice hotel”
Nice hotel in Tower Hill, will recommend it to my friend.
“Great hotel!”
Great value and the hotel was very hip/modern. Room itself was very clean and convenient to the local metro stop. Would definitely recommend!
“Great hotel in excellent location.”
What a great hotel. Very chic and stylish. Clean and quiet. Lovely bathroom. Iron & ironing board and full sized hair dryer. Close to Tower of London & good restaurants. Tube and docklands light railway stations only 5 minutes away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.
“Unexpected gem”
Excellent location and extremely quiet given that it is in a prime tourist hotspot. Staff were efficient and helpful without being over bearing. Would definitely recommend and go back.
“A great find!”
We stayed here the last night of our trip and it was super. We arrived hours before check in time and we were upgraded and checked in right away. The room had a new, modern contemporary design, very quiet and clean, and had an iron and ironing board (although dirty iron ruined my skirt). The restaurant had great food and the staff were very accomodating. It was close to the tube station and we will definately stay here the next time we go to London.
“Great London hotel”
Great location, hotel, and restaurant. There really isn't anything we didn't like. The hotel is about 5min walking distance to Tower hill underground station. 5-10min walk to Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Its a safe area to walk at night. The staff was more than kind, helped with every request. Rooms were clean and quite.
“Great Hotel, good location”
Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is itself is extremely clean, and modern with all new equipment. A pleasure to stay. It is a short walk to the London Tower and there are a few pubs around. Also a quick walk to Bricke Lane for good Indian food!
“Excellent Hotel, just be quick with your breakfast!”
Very impressed, exceeded all my expectations. Location is brilliant, not exactly a great view from the room but that was not important. I would advise you to eat your breakfast quickly though as my companion on the trip had her breakfast, which cost 15 quid, snatched from her half way through much to the astonishment of me, my friends and guests at neighbouring table and the embaressment of the other breakfast staff. Had the hotel not otherwise been absolutely brilliant there would be an almighty stink kicked up. Looking forward to trying other Apex hotels.
“Amazing Hotel!”
This hotel is first class. It is well maintained throughout and extremely modern in its choice of decor. All staff are corteous and polite, able to assist in any matter. It is an excellent base for a trip to London due to the location and it is a luxury to stay in a hotel like this. Plus points have to include the gorgeous bathrooms complete with luxury toiletries and walk in showers! I've stayed in this hotel twice now and will definitely be back again!
