“Convenient, clean & close”
We went to a concert at the 02 and booked this hotel!! We couldn't believe how close and convenient the hotel was!!! 30 seconds if that from custom house dlr station ;0) room was very clean!! Would use again ;0)
“Excellent priced hotel for the area”
The hotel is in an excellent location, very comfortable and with a good choice of restaurants.
“Ideal Location, Pleasant Surprise.”
The original reason for chosing this hotel was for it's close proximity to the O2 Arena(also ideal for London Excel). However, the bonus was the hotel's service and cleanliness. It is very refreshing(and rare these days) to be greeted with a human touch and natural politeness, which was consistent with all the staff. The bedrooms were comfortable,with the appropriate facilities, and a spotlessly clean bathroom. For a London hotel, it was very reasonable.

“What a find!”
We wanted a hotel that was close to the O2 Arena (we had concert tickets) but still handy for the City and the West End. Custom House ticked both boxes brilliantly. Its location directly opposite the DLR meant we could be in town in less than 20 minutes and at the O2 in 10. The hotel is nicely appointed and has good facilities. There were also some very nice little touches that set it apart from other hotels (the free ironing room for example). The personal greeting when you switch on the TV was also very welcoming. We are regular visitors to the capital and for our money Custom House will be our first call whenever we come again.

We had a pleasant stay and we would recommend this hotel. Only the TV had occasionally some problems,otherwise everything was fine.
“nice clean hotel”
we had 2 rooms in this hotel and they were both spotless. We were only down for the night to see the ice hockey at the o2 and this hotel was quite convenient and very reasonable. I would recomend this hotel to anyway looking to crash for the night. The only slight complaint was that the whole place was very warm so we have the window open all the time.
“Value for Money”
We stayed at The Custom House for a long weekend and chose it specifically for its location close to the O2, which is two short stops on the DLR and one on the Jubilee line. We found the hotel staff to be friendly and accommodating,unlike a number of other reviewers. The rooms may be small and basic, however for the price they are more than adequate and in fact I would say they are value for money. The only small complaints we had were that the shower was too compact and because of the positioning of the LCD TV the picture wasn't always clear, but this is just nit-picking. We ate in the adjoining pub and found the meal and service to be very good. Overall a good, value for money hotel in which to base your stay in London.
“The hotel was ideal for our visit to the O2 . We would definitely use it for any trip to London.”
The room was well equipped and very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The en-suite was small but fine for our needs. There was no noise at night. We had the continental breakfast and there was plenty to eat.
“Very Nice Hotel Within Minutes of Downtown London”
Easy arrival from the tube. Minutes from downtown. Next to the new convention center Excel. Room is spacious and bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Shower is a little small but usable. Three restaurants on premises. Hotel service is accommodating. I would stay there again.
