Built in the 1930s, the Art Deco-style Dolphin House is part of Dolphin Square, which features 3.5 acres of private gardens. “Wonderful surprise.”
Staid at the Dolphin House over the New Year's. It was a residential area in Pimlico, so it was quiet. There are few restaurants around it, unlike Bayswater. But a search shows there were a few within a few blocks. Tube station was just around the corner, easy to get to. The Thames river walkway was just down the street, so I had a path I can run on. The Hotel was very well decorated in a "modern" way. I didn't used the facilities that came with the stay (as I had business to conduct elsewhere.). The staff was superb, as I had arrived earlier than the normal check in time, they bent over backwards to get my room ready. I was able to drop off my bags and wander around London a bit. By the time I got back at the appointed time, my room was ready (check out is by 1100, check in is at 1500.). Internet access is not free but it was fast and reliable (no cutoffs). I'd stay at the this hotel again. Loved it.
“My Home in London”
I found The Dolphin House an excellent place to stay when visiting London. I stayed in a Studio apartment, very comfortable. The gym facilities, the restaurant and the shopping arcade are extremely convenient, keeping you around. The neighborhood is pleasant, with restaurants and transportation easily available. In a short: The Dolphin House was elected my home in London.

We found this to be a perfect fit for us. There were four of us and our room arrangement had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room. It was perfect. It was within walking distance to the tube and 1/2 mile from Westminster Abbey.The staff was very good and helpful. We will come again.
“Very comfortable hotel”
I stayed in a one bedroom apartment, while small was very comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay including a kitchen. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
“Definitely use again”
In my opinion a better way to stay in a big city, much more comfort and space within these apartments compared to a hotel. Ideally situated close to the tube, very good facilities.
“Great value - Great location”
The Dolphin House exceeded our expectations. It was a three block walk from Pimlico station. We found good restaurants within a ten minute walk. The bar and restaurant that is part of the Dolphin House complex was great for breakfast. This was a good quality basic room without a lot of trimmings. Clean, quiet, convenient, efficient staff, etc.
“Holiday Study Abroad”
We spent Thanksgiving visiting our son who is studying in London for the Semester. We are a group of 5 (2 parents, 1 additional college, 1 high school, 1 grammar) and need a lot of space. This hotel was PERFECT-great location, helpful staff, good restaraunt, great fitness area to entertain children, and large units to fit all of us. I would recommend this to any large family visiting London. The area was safe and quiet but within 1 metro stop of Buckingham Palace. Big Ben's chimes lulled us to sleep each night. Great trip!!!!
