“Wish I was still there.........”
Very nice hotel, with extremely friendly and professional staff. The room as great and the bed was so comfy :)
“Great hotel close to Tate Modern”
The hotel is very clean and the staff very friendly. It is about 10 mins walk from London Bridge Tube and is a short walk to the Tate Modern and all the bars and restaurants on the bankside. Would recommend.
“High class hotel of outstanding value and great location!”
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the hotel is only a short walk from the Tate and London Bridge. With a Pret a Manger and M & S Simply Food right on the door step, it's a perfect location. The staff are incredibly friendly and can't do enough for you. We were able to check in early and also leave our luggage until we left the next day. Excellent value for money and I would definitely stay there again!
“Perfect modern hotel”
Clean, modern, efficient and very helpful staff. We stayed over as we were attending a Ball at The Savoy, we had drinks in the bar and the front desk kindly arranged a taxi for us! Great value for money!

“Location, location, location!”
The Bankside Mercure Hotel was a real standout, being ideally located close to the Thames and neighborhood attractions. From the hotel we were able to stroll easily and quickly to Tate Modern, Millennium Bridge, St. Paul's Cathedral, and the Millennium Eye. We also walked to the British Museum and went shopping on Oxford Street. We finished our excursion with a visit to John Lewis' food halls (Waitrose) and picked up a nice trio of salads, fresh French rolls, and some excellent British beers. It was a delightful couple of days in London made especially pleasant by our hotel's proximity to so many interesting places.
“Ideal location & friendly staff ~ well done!”
Staff at this hotel are incredibly helpful & approachable; the receptionist at check-in exceeded our expectations in offers of help; we were shown to our table at breakfast & explained how it worked; and staff who hadn't served us wished us a good day on our exit. The only drawbacks were the room was overheated & we couldn't work out how to turn the heat down, and the bathroom was so small the door brushed the loo if the lid was down!

An excellent place to stay. Great location, terrific breakfast, and very good staff. An easy walk to the heart of London, with restaurants and food marts near by. The rooms are comfortable and the area is very safe.
