“My home in London”

I have stayed at the Norfolk Plaza 4 or 5 times now and it is always a pleaure. The place isn't big but it's clean, the people are friendly and the location is ideal for London travel. This is the standard by which I judge all other European 3 star hotels.

I have stayed at this hotel many times since approx. 2003. It is very conveniently located at Paddington and I use it after returning from Heathrow. It is not exactly luxurious but clean, bright and well priced. Will most certainly use again.

“Good Vibes in London”

The hotel, itself, was clean and, surprisingly, roomy. This is because single rooms have 2 twin beds. This automatically allowed for more room. The hotel offered a discount for its breakfast. I didn't try it. The room was very clean. The elevator was sufficiently large and worked! If there is one thing that could be improved, it would be for the hotel to purchase new, larger televisions, and to subscribe to a larger cable package. The staff was helpful and very polite. This hotel had been recommended to me by a colleague who stays there annually, as well. I have no regrets for having booked at the Norfolk Plaza Hotel, and would recommend it to all travellors who wish to find reasonably priced, comfortable accommodations in London.

“pleasantly surprised”

I picked this hotel because of price and proximity to railroad. It turned out to be just perfect for me. It was in a convenient spot to stores and post office. It was a quiet street with a park veiw. The front desk help was very helpful,(night front desk guy, who was relatively new) The room was small but just right for me.Room was clean and I was happy with my stay. ONly draw back, had to pay for breakfast which wasn't as good as I expected. But for location, I would stay here again.

“Comfortable, Convenient and Clean”

I have stayed at the Norfolk several times and always had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located near the Paddington station and is easy to find. The Norfolk offers a very good breakfast and there are several good pubs near by as well as a number of carryout locations for food and limited grocery items. If you are looking to escape the cookie cutter chain hotels, try the Norfolk. It is always my first choice when I visit London.

“Convenient 3-bed room,”

Old-fashioned rooms with modern lobby &n convenient breakfast room. Well-priced room for 3. Large bath; good breakfast, excellent location near Paddington Station & short bus ride to Marble Arch. Located on attractive garden square.

“I'll go back”

Ok my second try to submit this, don't know if first went.. Older bulding in block of many small hotels of same vintage. Very close to Paddington and 15 min walk to Hyde park. Typically mixed neighborhood of multicultural restaauurants and little bars. Front desk staff were excellent and helped me overcome any shortcomings. Location attracted me from maps. I found elevator and narrow hallways a llittle apprehensive on first impression. First room given was smoking floor, my mistake front desk helped and moved us without hassle and gave us upgrade. within hour. Furniture and carpets are due for a changed. I was not in London for carpet or furniture critiques. My two days were to see London not a room.

If you are on a budget who only needs basic amenities, & enjoy a lovely scenery, I recommend this hotel; otherwise, keep searching. Situated near Paddington station, eateries, shops, internet cafe, & Norfolk square for a nice stroll. Staff was pleasant, buffet breakfast was nourishing, bedroom/bath clean although bathtub 2 ft high, & 3-bedroom spacious enough. However, wooden floors creak esp when guests above stomp around their room. Enjoyed our stay. Would come back again with my family.
