“Budget, Clean, Convinient Hotel with in15 min ride to Central London locations”
Nothing bad to say about the Hotel. I rated the service a 5 because they were very courteous and also arranged us a Taxi with few minutes notice at 11 PM in night. They also arranged us a Taxi to Heathrow for 35 pounds. We paid 60 pounds to get here from Heathrow when we got the taxi from the Taxi line at the airport. Of course, it costs around 4 pounds if you take the tube. They have small lockers near the reception to hold on to the valuables. It was nice of them to hold on to our laptop in the reception area while we are out. The rooms are small as any other hotel in London but they were neat.No restaurant on site, but you really dont need one. Nearest Tube Station - Finchley Road is a 5 min Walk. In between the Hotel and Tube Station, you have a US type Mall with Restaurants, Movies and a Grocery Chain Store. Includes Pizza Hut, Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. 15 min ride to Victoria, Paddington and other places in Central London.
“Nice and cheap”
Close to Finchley tube station and camden/kentish town
“Good value.”
The hotel has upgraded since last I stayed there in Feb. 2006. Much improved. They met my request for early check-in and had my room ready early.
“Lovely Hotel”
The room, although rather basic, had everything that we required. It was very clean, the staff were very friendly & it was only a very short trip to the centre. The free car parking was very much appreciated! I would definitely recommend this hotel again, especially to those who are looking for a well priced place to stay.
“Expensive, Expensive, Expensive!!!”
Remember that not only is London expensive in general but at the moment (and it's pretty much always been this way) the U.S. dollar does not hold a candle to the English pound. Make sure that you have adequate funds before you plan your trip. A one way ride on the metro will cost you about $8.
“Very comfortable stay”
This hotel we found to be the best hotel we stayed in! Very nice to stay in this hotel. Lift made it easy to get to our room on the 3rd floor. Staff was very nice and helpful. Plus, down the road, is the 02! A very nice mall. and right down from the mall is a tube station. The hotel is located in North west London which is a very posh place. Thge houses across the street where worth 500,000 pounds! Thge tube station which close is Fincley Road. I reccommened this hotel to anyone how wants ot stay in a nice part of London and enjoy the view plus central London not far from the tube.
“Great location, good value”
I chose this hotel because of the Hampstead location and the fact that we got a good price on the room. Having been to London before, I really did not want to stay in the crowded tourist areas of central London. The hotel is very convenient to the Finchley Road tube stop, from which you can easily get to the Baker Street stop and transfer to other lines. The rooms are small, but adequate for tourists who aren't in the room much. Breakfast was NOT included with the booking on expedia.com, nor are there in-room safes for valuables. Finchley Road is very noisy at night, so take that into consideration if staying here.
“Great LOcation, Very Friendly Staff”
Older Hotel near transportation. Very good staff but hotel needs updating.
“Acceptable entry level for cheap and cheerful accomodation”
Hotel had a dated 70's look but had friendly receptionist and was clean. convenient for what I wanted, easy to get to. Slightly overpriced for what it was but within acceptable limits.
“Average place to stay at reasonable prices”
Plus points Close to "Tube" Resonably priced
