“Been before. Certainly not disappointed second time around”
We love this hotel. When we came to stay three years ago, we were so surpirsed to find such a reasonably priced hotel with all the benefits of convenience, cleanliness and service that you would expect in a 5-star hotel. So we came back last week just for one night on our way to Las Vegas and we were certainly not disappointed. Just the same standard of quality - including a lovely heated swimming pool overlooking the marina. One very small comment about the breakfast room: there was some confusion as to whether this was self-service or waiter service - some guests were helping themselves, but we were directed to a table with waiter service, which was extremely slow and presumably the breakfast cost more. I would have preferred to help ourselves as we remembered we did three years ago - the egg and bacon would have been hotter. Another very small point: there were some incidental signs of wear and tear in our room. A shame as just a little bit of attention to detail would have made the whole experience just a little bit better. But we will be back. It's a great place, especially the approach and the surrounding marina.
“Old but a real bargin and we would go again”
This hotel is old and it shows but it is very clean the staff is great and we it is a real bargin. Would stay there again in a min.
“A good place, very well situated”
This hotel is very comfortable. Close to Venice Beach! You can rent a bike to visit Venice beach and the fisherman's village. The room is big and the service good. It is situated close to Raplhs store, 7 eleven, Ihop... Really convenient.
“Very Lovely”
Wonderful room with view of marina - right on the water. A few tatters in the carpet but otherwise the room was 4 star. Everyone very nice and swimming pool just the right temp.

“Love this place”
I have been staying at Marina Del Rey hotel whenever I come to Marine Del Rey and have quite frankly not found a better deal or more friendly and helpful staff. Sure some of the carpet is worn and the whole place is definitely not deluxe but the mattress is great, rooms have all you need (including a fridge if you ask for it) and the location is juts stellar. Avoid pool side rooms if you are noise sensitive. Not just the splashing in the pool but this side also gets more noise from LAX. A little off the beaten track so you need a car or bike but you need that anyway anywhere in LA

Excellent service at Check-in and out. Restaurant food was very good with a comfortable bar overlooking the Marina.
“Good option”
The hotel is clean and comfortable and the free parking and internet were very convenient. I spent New Year's there with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The only thing is that the room is a little bit old.
“Scruffy, but charming...”
Clearly, at one time this hotel was the cat's meow, but it could use a good remodel. That said, the rates more than made up for the stained hallway carpets. My room had newer carpet and was clean & comfortable. I would happily overlook a few worn fixtures in exchange for a great rate. Free parking and great location ensure that I will stay here whenever I have to stop overnight in Los Angeles. And all the staff were friendly and helpful.

An excellent hotel in a waterfront location a short and easy drive from the airport. Good size room, excellent dinner and breakfast. The only negative point relates to a very, very slow draining bath/shower.
