“Best Hotel, Cheap Prize, Best Location in Santa Monica”
We stayed in Santa Monica for 3 days, this hotel was perfect, the beautiful beach and pier is accross the street and the view is beautiful. Many attractions are just a few minutes away, very good restaurants, 3rd street promenade has the best shopping and local bars. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I recommend this hotel to everyone planning to visit Santa Monica.

Good location to go shopping: It takes 5 minutes to go to Third Street Promenade on food. Good location to take bus: It takes 1 minute to get to bus stop bus stop.
“Watch the hustle bustle of the Santa Monica pier from your hotel balcony”
This hotel is right on Ocean Blvd., with a view of the Santa Monica pier and the beach available, if you book an ocean view room. Well worth it to be able to kick back in the evening and people watch. My hotel room was clean, comfortable and well maintained during my stay. The hotel staff were unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful. There was a continental breakfast offered every morning. I would definitely stay here again. Centrally located, within walking distance of several local attractions, and not that far from LAX intl. airport.
“Fabulous location and so much to do.”
Ocean View Hotel Santa Monica was the best location that I have stayed in in Los Angeles. Across the road from the beach, diagonally opposite the Santa Monica Pier and one block from some fabulous shops and restaurants which seemed to be open day and night. Continental breakfast included and staff are friendly and helpful I fully recommend this hotel.

the ocean view isn't the newest or poshest hotel on the block but we loved it. when you book certainly ask for a room fronting on the ocean on the top two floors. helpful staff, comfy bed, great view. we had a great time.

“Loved Santa Monica”
Arrived early to see if we could check in and they were very accommodating, friendly staff and great location so close to all attractions. Recommend a stay here to anyone.
“parking is the only sometimes issue”
Everything about the place is just fine for the price point - nothing fancy - but also perfectly adequate. The only issue was the parking on the weekend when there was big event in the neighborhood. They use the hotel parking garage to valet outsiders and it was insane and silly.
