I booked a room for ALA 19, staying one night. It was a decent place. The bathroom did feel a bit cramped, with the shower door completely blocking off access to the toilet and towel rack when it was opened. The bathroom floor feels kinda slippery, so you might wanna pack some flip flops for that. The showerhead did feel a bit uncomfortable and the stream uneven, but it did get the job done. The blanket was thin, which combined with the windy January weather in Long Beach right now, left me feeling a bit chilly. I did notice there was only an air conditioner and no heater, albeit the floors were heated. Overall a decent place to spend a night or two if you're on a budget. Just make sure to pack your own soap and extra layers for the cold months. A cheaper alternative to Best Western or Travelodge (the former of which would've been my first choice if there had been available rooms on the weekend I wanted, haha)
