“Will go again”
This Resort is the best we went so far. Big area, pool and room. Service are good. I was prepared to get up every morning at 7 to reserve the restruants. But we were able to reserve the other two restruant at the first night, and only have to reserve Krastal in the morning at 7 am. This is a big improvement.
“AMAZING HONEYMOON”
My husband and I stayed at the Riu Palace the last week in September 2010 for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful time!! We were greeted with margaritas at check-in and had no problem getting the oceanfront suit we made our reservation for through expedia. The open air lobby was georgous!! Our room was spotless and a nice size, the view of the archs and ocean from our balcony was beautiful. We had a nice little mini bar that was stocked daily with water, soda and beer. I have no complaints of the cleanliness of our room or this hotel during our stay, there was staff cleaning everywhere you looked. We spent most of our time on the resort in the pool, drinking, relaxing & playing games with other newlyweds and the staff during the day. We did go off the resort one day and into town for a jet skiing excursion. It was awesome! The food in the restaurants at dinner was MUCH better than the daily buffett food. You have to make reservations for the restaurants for dinner early in the morning the day of, which was a little inconvenient but we managed to roll out of bed and make reservations most days. The buffett food was OK, but after a weeks stay it got a little old, there are TONS of food options at the buffett so unless you are a picky eater I think you will be able to find something there you like. The only complaint I had we the room service food.. we tried ordering room service twice and it was HORRIBLE.. Cabo Wabo in town was a lot of fun, and mi casa restaurant was good too
“Warm Days, Cool Nights”
Excellent Resort, friendly staff, great food. Be prepared for the cool nights-bring long sleeve tops and sweatshirts. Beach is somewhat steep and more difficult for long walks. Beautiful view from pool and bar areas. Ocean-view room....not really that as it was way back and trees blocked the view.
“Best resort in cabo”
It is clearly the nicest resort in cabo
“LOVE the RIU!!”
I loved the riu palace. super clean and the staff was awesome!...not to mention the food!....beautiful resort!
“Great time at RIU Palace”
Very nice ocean front suite. Food was very good and all the booze you want. Wine was below our expectations but the Champagne was decent.
“Wonderful stay”
Great staff and service, gorgeous hotel, next time we go to Cabo we'll definitely stay here! The pools were very nice and the food was good. We made reservations at the steakhouse one night, and my expectations were totally exceeded, it was really great! Overall it was an excellent trip, and I can't stress enough how great and accomidating the staff was! If you're going to Cabo stay here, you'll never want to leave!
“We love this resort!”
This is the second time we have stayed at the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas. We absolutely love everything about this resort! Nothing negative to say at all except if you like to swim in the ocean a lot, you can't really do it safely in front of the resort. Not a big thing for my family. We just take a cab to the beach when we want to swim. The kids enjoyed playing on the beach under all the palm trees! Major Plus: The people who sell the tshirts and jewelry do not bother you on the beach here.
“The most amazing time”
The RIU Palace lived up to all the hype that is the typical tropical sandy beach vacation. We were in amazement at the sheer size of the place, and in even more amazement at the quality of service and amenities offered. As soon as we checked in, they brought us margarita's and warmly welcomed us. There were so many bars and things to eat it took us days to really absorb the atmosphere and let go of our worries and uncertainty. We spent a week there, and were very sad to leave and come back to the 'real world'. We simply cannot wait to go again!!
“Needed to stay longer”
We felt 6 days was not enough. We started to feel relaxed about the 4th day. Two weeks would be a perfect stay. The view from our room was so beautiful. The weather was perfect. The food was excellent. The fitness room could have been better.
