“Great hotel experience”
Really good hotel in an excellent position for seeing Madrid. Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good value and worth the price. Got tube from the airport, very easy to do and took hotel shuttle back to the airport - good value. Room was quiet, electric blinds good and the bathroom very well appointed. Nice touch leaving gifts in the room, all in all an excellent hotel.
“The perfect spot!”
The Atlantico was great! It was right in the middle of everything and a beautiful hotel. Don't be afraid to take the Metro there, super easy. The hotel also offers a FREE shuttle from the Madrid airport. The staff was extremely helpful. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and loved it!
“Cant beat the location value and service”
The Atlantico is located right next to a Metro stop in the heart of the Madrid. Everything is easy to get to from here. The hotel is recently renovated, the accommodations were very clean, smoke free, and quiet. We stayed on one of the higher floors, ( if you can do that, I recommend that ) for a egregious view of Madrid. Did I mention the Wifi is free?
“Beautiful building in great location.”
Check-in to the hotel was stressful as parking in front of the hotel was limited to 2 minutes, but courteous, helpful, English-speaking staff made us feel very welcome. Lack of lobby space is compensated by beautiful public space, bar, and terraces on the top floor. Breakfast room overlooks the Gran Via, and breakfast buffet well worth the cost. Hotel, located across the street from Callao metro stop, is very conveniently located, within walking distance to museums, opera, and great shopping. We had a room with a window above an interior courtyard, so it was very quiet. The requested handicap accessible bathroom was well-equipped, but lacking in shelf space for toiletries. The building, especially beautiful when lit up at night, made it a joy to return to our hotel. I would gladly return to this hotel if I have a chance to return to Madrid.
“STYLISH ART DECO HOTEL IN MADRID”
If you're looking for a good quality reasonably priced hotel in Madrid, this hotel takes a lot of beating. It's conveniently located within a 100m of Callao Metro Station on Calle Gran Via and is housed in a wonderfully charismatic art-deco style building; Puerta del Sol is a five minute stroll away and all the major attractions are within reasonable walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient and most are fluent in English. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the bathrooms are the best we've experienced in a 4* hotel. overall, the hotel is very comfortable and stylish. It's only major drawback is the lack of a restaurant that serves dinner. However, the breakfast is comprehensive (including hot dishes), reasonably priced, and is served in a lovely dining room on the 1st floor; also, there is a 9th floor cafe bar with a wonderful terrace overlooking Gran Via that serves snacks such as tortilla & toasted sandwiches - from here you can access the roof dome from which you can get an even better panorama of the city. Overall it's one of the best value for money capital city centre hotels we've experienced with its central location adding to its attraction.
“Great hotel in a central location”
My husband and I were very impressed with the Hotel Atlantico. It was our first time in Madrid and the hotel was easy to find and in a very central location on the Gran Via. We got a good deal on our room and we were happy with it. It was quite spacious and the bathroom was well appointed. The only small gripe about our room was that when we opened the window, we looked out onto the bricks of the building next door. The breakfast buffet was well worth the money and had a great range of food. Hotel Atlantico is just across the road from the Callao Metro station. The Metro system in Madrid is brilliant - clean and efficient, with trains arriving frequently.
“Great Hotel, Great Location”
Great hotel, friendly, helpful staff, excellent location, very clean. Hotel had a great rooftop terrace where you could get light food and drinks, including free cafe americano and tea. One drawback we found was that the "free shuttle" from the airport departs at limited times and since our flight was delayed we missed one, there wasn't another for about 4 hours, and even so it was unclear where the pick-up point was. However, the Metro was cheap and very easy and there are several stops very close to the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here.
“Brilliant hotel”
Stayed 4 nights and couldn't fault the Atlantico in any way. Ideal location, very comfortable room, great staff. Breakfast good value at 9 euros.
“A great hotel!!”
Wonderful facility, great location, excellent service, can't wait to go back!
“New Year in Madrid”
Hotel was excellent- central location, helpful staff, very clean , could not fault it
