“The Palace is the place to stay”
This was a wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. First class in every way. The Asian restaurant in the hotel was the most expensive meal we ate during our stay but you get what you pay for. The staff was absolutely perfect and accommodating in every way. We can't wait to go back.
“will almost certainly use the hotel group again”
the hotel services in the hotel were of a very high standard and the staff polite and helpful.
“Spectacular Hotel in Heart of Madrid”
This is my 2nd stay at the Westin Palace. It's a beautiful hotel ideally located literally across the street from the major museums and easy walking distance to key shopping streets with many restaurant options nearby. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are great. The only 'con' is it can be pricey including room service and the restaurants, however breakfast was included in our rate and was perfect. There's a huge breakfast buffet that is wonderful.
“Loved it”
The hotel was beautiful -we stayed on the 6th floor which was especially nice. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel itself is in the guidebook. The bathrooms are especially nice with a very strong double shower and a big soaking tub.
“Wonderful place to stay in Madrid”
Great hotel, great service. Would definitely go back.
“Loved it”
We stayed here at the end of our driving tour around Spain. The moment you walked in you felt relaxed. The bed was the best of our trip. The hotel was beautiful and close to everything. The staff was very helpful.
“A Palace in Madrid!”
We had a great stay at The Westin in Madrid (known to the airport taxi drivers as just the Palace Hotel). This is a luxurious hotel in a great location - 5 minutes from Retiro Park, just across the road from the Prado and within easy walking distance of all the main sights. The Bus Turistico, which is a great way to get your bearings and see the sights, stops just outside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I was concerned that I would be able to hear road noise at night in the first room (a very light sleeper!) they were more than happy to let us change rooms. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Buffet breakfast - whilst expensive was excellent with a huge amount of choice. If you are in a hurry to see the sights this may not be the best option but good for a leisurely morning. (There is always Starbucks if you are in a hurry). Dinner in the hotel was expensive but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel - the Plaza Santa Ana (about 10 mins walk) is a nice place to eat or have a drink. The highlight of our stay at this hotel was sipping cocktails before dinner under the magnificent glass dome. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return!
“Excellent Hotel!”
The buffet is too expensive but the room was very confortable and the hotel is well located.
“The Westin Palace is at great location”
It is located at the heart of museum & attraction areas. Every things are in the woring distance. Only one thing there is no disabled ram, escalator, or elavator to go from checking counters to lobby area.
“Elegant but pricey”
I took my wife and mother to the Palace hotel(Westin) for three nights and we had a very relaxing time soaking up the luxurious atmosphere. Some of the plus points are: location very good, hotel surroundings very elegant, and the opera in the lobby Sunday lunchtime. The negative points: Heineken 11 Euro's a bottle, no tea/coffee making facilities, lack of porters. Would I stay there again? probably, but would do more research into finding quality local restaurants as it's quite pricey eating in the hotel's restaurant every night.
