“Great location”

This hotel is in the building in which many post cards are taken of so its a fantastic spot to start your adventures walking Madrid. The busy tourist streets and theatres are right outside your door.

central hotel, easy to get to all major attractions.Very Clean modern rooms and dont forget to go up to the 7th floor for the sun terrace and sun beds.Reception was very friendly although small (we did not have to wait to check in or out) Would not re visit Madrid as it is the most expensive City I have ever visited. 11 euros for 2 bags of crisps and 1 fanta !!!!

Comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Hotel has kept its art deco apperance despite being newly renovated.

“Wonderful Location/Service”

My partner and I have just returned from a three night stay at the Vincci Capitol in Madrid. The hotel is located on the Gran Via, a very busy main road which runs through the city (although you cant hear the traffic in the rooms). Its location is ideal, only a 15-20 min walk to the best sight seeing locations in the city. The hotel has a slightly quirky interior, lots of purple and glass, but instead of being off putting, it lends the hotel a lovely individual quality and the air of a boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend bars and restaurents. The room itself was a very good size, the wardrobes weren't very big, but the decoration of the room and the size of the bathroom, more than made up for it( great showers!). If you are looking for a short break, and a hotel that provides great service in a very accessible location that you could do a lot worse than staying here.

Hotel was absolutely fantastic. The two outside terraces, especially the solarium were an amazing addition. Very rarely used by others which was fantstic for us but a shame for other guests. Could not understand why the hotel did not make more of them e.g. cocktail bar early evening? Hotel very modern. Room small, but to be expected from a city centre. Would perhaps not have had the wardrobe where it was placed, slightly awkward. Would definitely stay there again and absolutely recommend. All the hotel staff we were in contact with were very helpful and spoke good English.

“Gran Via”

Great location in terms of shopping and getting around. The staff is friendly most of the time. The room was perfect and the view is amazing.
