"Not the best place I have stayed at but for the price really good a nice flat in a great location..really for single travellers but could do a couple..definitely not for children"

"Stay was ok. Couple of things to be aware of - early check in (I arrived at 1230) costs £40 and buffet breakfast for any kids over 12 is £20 each so £60 for a family of 3 is quite a lot. I think the Marriott could do a lot more to make their hotels more family friendly and welcoming."

"Wasn’t quite what I was expecting on check in, more an apart-hotel than hotel. Check in area and bar / restaurants very good with nice ambience. Was a bit disappointed with room, didn’t feel it really reflected the pictures and description. Very small and space sacrificed to make into a studio area. Bed was tucked into a corner which made it awkward for 2 people and bathroom space limited. Expected it to be a bit more luxurious for price and compared to rest of hotel. That said, great location for Nottingham Hill and Portobello market, gym facilities an added bonus which we enjoyed using. Overall had a great stay and would stay again, knowing what to expect."

"Booking in was quick with friendly staff,room was clean & fine for short stay,breakfast was excellent great choice & well presented,we were at Lords for the cricket & the hotel was virtually opposite our entrance,lots of buses to Baker St & beyond free with my bus pass,all in all perfect"

"I experienced a lot locked because power failure and their system Had problems reading my name on credit card ID , though Pasdport was fine . The mattress was were things really upset and I have requested compensation or an extra day stay still hear from them and I was booked for a three night stay. No one still talking or calling me back to resolve issue. Lost or stolen Two tops whilst out there , no reply to My request to view CCTV."

"I will start by saying that customer service offered to cancel our stay. We chose to stay despite being unhappy due to our short time in London - check-in was confusing, the pub/tavern was not terribly clean -we found dog poo along the walkway. The remote checkin support person did not know we needed two different codes to enter the building - this was not a hotel! An unmarked building with individual apartments. Once in the building we had to climb a steep and narrow flight of stairs with some heavy luggage. Room was fine, kept hearing people moving around on the floor above us. Even with ‘white noise’ running I was awakened by the movement-overpriced accommodation"
