“Nice in Nerja”
Nice hotel steep climb back from beach, pleasant staff in all very good.
“Malaga's best hotel, very impressed”
I have visited severals hotels in my life, but the experience with the Nerja Club Hotel, is unique, the staff is excellent, they really care for their visitors, I will, recommend this hotel to all my friends.
“Nerja Club Hotel - worth a visit”
We recently stayed at the Hotel Nerja Club and were pleasantly surprised. We had read mixed reviews before travelling and so were unsure what to expect. The hotel staff are polite and offer excellent service. We booked for B&B and enjoyed a wide range of dishes for breakfast - a cooked option was always available and the food was very good. The pool are was well kept and a nice place to relax. The town of Nerja is relaxed and an excellent place for a short break. There are some reviews which suggest it's a real walk to town but this depends onn your fitness level! We walked into town several times with no difficulty. The only journey we resorted to a taxi was the return journey fron Burriana Beach which is uphill. Burriana Beach is amazing - few beach bars , great cafe/restaurants and stunning views of sea and mountains. We booked a short break to celebrate making it to 40! and thoroughly enjoyed the Nerja Club.
“Strongly Recomend”
Stayed in Nerja before loved the little town. Had a bit of trouble finding Hotel Nerja Club drove passed a few times before locating. Facilities are good for this hotel, the poolside is perfect, entertainment was good for the short time we stayed there. Plenty to see and do in Nerja, strongly recommend a visit to Cuevas de Nerja absolutely spectacular. Hotel staff were excellent their English was much better than my Spanish. I will certainly go back. The rooms are cleaned and well furnished just that there were single beds wished if there was double bed. Nice little balcony. Food was good wished if there were more of a variety on the menu apart from the basics.
“Best hotel in Nerja”
This is the third time we have been to the Nerja club Hotel. All the staff at this hotel are very warm and friendly also very helpful. Its convenientl located to get around to all the places of interest and you can walk to the burianna beach and walk into nerja town itself. That takes around 20 mins. The food is good you can either have the buffett or bar food - both are good. Thwey have a nice outdoor pool - although its not warmed up its still good to get into especially when its very hot. They have plenty of sun loungers and tables chairs outside. Highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
“It is as advertised, consistent with the price and description.”
The hotel is located about a mile outside the town centre and is a pleasnt walk in the day or evening but note the area is quite hilly and the walk back to the hotel from the town is all uphill. We booked B&B only and sampled some of the many restaurants of the town for our evening meal. They are plentiful and reasonably priced. As indicated in the 'review name', don't expect anything more of the hotel than is advertised, or than you would expect from the prices. It is located on a main road on the outer edge of the town but we did not suffer any problems from noise, probaly beacuse of our room location and the quiet time of year of our holiday although I can't imagine it ever gets too bad as it does not serve as a major through route given the proximity of the motorway to Nerja. The hotel has good facilities, pleasant staff and was clean and tidy. The breakfast spread is the same each day with a variety of hot and cold food - not 'haute cuisine' but ok. Car parking is good with some set places at the front of the hotel and nearby smaller roads. There is a large supoermarket just across the road form the hotel. We knew about this hotel before we went as friends have used it several times before. We would use it again too as it is convenient and reasoanbly priced.
“Quiet and Friendly”
A basic hotel, but every thing we needed, out side of the main town(15min walk) but staff were very helpful, pool and surrounding area clean.
“Exceptionally good value”
My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Nerja Club on two occasions in recent weeks - both times for three days. We found the hotel to be exceptionally good value for money. We enjoyed half-board and found the food to be good although not very exciting. Overall the hotel was clean, friendly and well situated. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable. We would not hesitate to return.
“Good budget Hotel”
The Hotel was easy to find, good parking, a big supermarket across the road. 20min walk and you are right in the city centre. Things we liked: room was clean, fresh, always kept tidy. Had a nice little balcony with 2 chairs and aircon to keep a nice temperature at night. Staff was very nice and friendly, spoke good English and very service-minded! They gave good tips of what to do during our stay. 2 great restaurants, Puerta del Mar(mainly seafood) and Pata Negra (mainly meat)! Happy Hour in the bar between 5-7 every evening 50%! Alot of evening entertainment, one night flamenco dancers another one-man band show. Nice pool area and terrace. Things that could be better: Food was not great, not bad but ok. You get what you pay for. Average age of residents was very high, a few more young faces would have been nice.

Area:
Nerja, Spain: East of Malaga and one of the Costa del Sols quieter resorts, Nerja attracts a more mature traveller than its brasher neighbours, and sits atop low cliffs dropping down to enclosed beaches such as that of El Salón. The towns focal point is the Balcón de Europa, a paved headland jutting out into the Mediterranean. The most popular attraction is the Nerja caves, large enough to house a concert hall hosting ballet and orchestra performances.
