“Good, but.......”
Second stay at hotel - it's the only one with a pool in Lund. Situated on an industrial estate a bus ride from the Centre. Had a family room on each stay - consists of large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Twin bedded bedroom, two slim wardrobes, some drawers, shelves, desk, mirror hair-dryer under sloping roof. Usual Swedish 2xsmall pillows - did not ask if others were available, but used robe to bolster & cool. Sitting room has bed settee, TV, Drawers, cupboard, desk, small safe, not big enough for laptop, hanging space and space for shoes at door. No heating control, but open-able windows. Hair dryer in both rooms worked for only a couple of minutes before cutting out and staying off - Bring Your Own! No tea or coffee making facilities. Both rooms were nearly somewhat intrusive lift (Is this because of Expedia crunchy prices?). Breakfast fine - standard EU fare and plentiful. Activity room to keep children happy. Seemed understaffed when coach tours came in. Good Pool, Gym Sauna. Helpful staff at reception. Loans out bicycles. Overall, satisfactory to good.

The staff (a lady) in front desk was not friendly to guest when I asked for assistance.
“Away from Town”
A bit far from downtown and primarly for business travelers. Bus transport closeby but really auto accessible. Nice rooms pleasant staff.

“Good in places”
This is obviously a business hotel looking to fill places at the weekend. They are a bus/taxi ride out of the Centre of Lund, with no close facilities, except a garage. No lunch or dinner on Sunday. Reception sometimes unstaffed, even when phone number is called. Décor is 1990's and my bedroom looked "tired", with cracks in wall. Not possible to watch TV in bed. Two electrical items failed when I was there. Breakfast buffet is good. Staff pleasant and helpful. Overall a good experience and value for money.
“Dated decor and restaurant problems”
Maybe it was the summer staff coverage issue, but the restaurant service was terrible. Rooms are fine, but with strange 'country-style' decor that looks dated. Generally could do with an updating. But if it is close to where you need to be and you can limit the restaurant issue, then by all means...
