“good choice”
an excellent choice for granada. central location on the plaza and very helpful and friendly staff
“Wonderful Place among Wonderful People”
Everything was great with the exception of spotty internet service. The rooms were spectacular and the service was excellent!
“Best Service”
Hotel Plaza Colon was great. This was the second visit in 4 months and the staff was great. Everyone from the staff remembered my family and I from the previous trip. The staff was great to work with and very friendly. I will not stay anywhere, but here when in Granada.
“Will go back”
The staff at the Plaza Colon was great. Everything from the complientary cocktail to the bell boy walking me a block to show me the ATM and walking me and my family 3 blocks to a recommended resturaunt. They also assited my family and I in setting up some tours of Granada. Very excellent service all around.
“EXCELLENT CHOICE”
The hotel is excellently located just in front of the Plaza. A few minutes away (walking distance) from La Calzada which is a "must" for every visitor. Hotel is a beautiful restored colonial style building. Everything was clean, and staff was polite and helpful. I would definitively recommend this hotel. Tip: Buy a nice bottle of wine in Enoteca (just downstairs) and every evening before heading to have dinner take your glass of wine and enjoy whats going around.

Fair rates excellent service, great breakfast, and room service. Very clean rooms with supery comfortable beds. Highly Reccomend !!
“Granada's best hotel!”
This hotel was a suprise to us, not only is it in the best location in Granada, but it is maintained beyond many hotel standards in the US. The service was outstanding. The value was fair, and best of all in a country where things are not usually up to US standards as far as being clean its clean. We had two rooms in this hotel for 1 week. Both great. Unless you love noise I would avoid the front balcony rooms, the birds in the early morning will drive you over the edge. Otherwise its a great hotel.
“Front desk very helpful”
The man at the desk made sure we had breakfast to go, even though we had to leave before the breakfast began. He called a cab for us & recomended a wonderful restaurant.
“5 star hotel in 5 star colonial Granada”
superb location downtown right on Central Plaza in front of the Cathedral full of activity during the day , quiet at night walking distance to restaurants with great food/ great value staff is consistently professional, hospitable, helpful room always clean, good ventilation, lots of clean towels beautiful , restful well landscaped courtyard and pool that seem to be empty most of the time good variety of seating areas outside to people- watch or within to read, relax, have company overall, a 5 star hotel in the fantastic colonial city of Granada!
“A Great Place to Stay...”
Excellent hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were quiet and the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast that was included was excellent. The staff were very helpful in recommending restaraunts and places to visit as well as organizing transportation. I would definitely stay here again.
