“Perfect Location, Relaxed and Friendly”
In loved staying here. It suited perfectly for getting in to Manchester City for business and pleasure and its so convenient for getting to from the Airport. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and I took breakfast and an evening meal which were both good. Two quibbles: you cant park too near which is difficult if you are travelling alone and need to do multiple trips to get your luggage in and out.....and I could not hear my husband phoning from the States, so asked for a replacement phone. Front desk assured me they had replaced it but I still couldnt hear my husband the following night....
“Manchester Airport very close, hotel shuttle bus every hour. ex. value for money.”

“Stay after long overseas flight”
Very much enjoyed out stay - apart from only hot water in the room no cold. But everything else was lovely and the place has a wonderful old English feel to it. Thanks you
“Great value”
I got a very good deal for two nights between Christmas and New Year. Although the room was small I couldn't fault it for the price I paid. When I checked in I was giving the option of paying for the breakfast in advance which was cheaper than paying in the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and only cost £6.50. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean and you also get free parking. There is a regular bus service into town from outside the hotel. If you get a taxi it costs about £15. All in all I had a really nice stay and would recommend this to everyone.
“Close to airport”
Unlike earlier reviewers, we found the hotel clean and quite up to two-star standards. The food seemed overpriced, so we didn't eat there. It gave us what we needed: a good place to stay close to Manchester airport, a shower, windows in the room that open.

hi, hotel was very good, service and from all staff, food was good and service was very good to. jim.
“Not bad for the price”
There are a lot of negative reviews on this hotel all over the internet, especially about the cleanliness of the room and safety of the carpark. This got me worried before I left for the hotel. As in other reviews, the carpark looks well dark and dodgy. However I had managed to park close to the hotel entrance on all 3 nights, so my car had been safe throughout the stay. As for the room, it was fairly clean, not dusty or filthy like in other reviews. However it was very worn too with laminate facing missing from the plywood shelves in the bathroom. I did not have much interaction with the staff but they seem generally OK. However housekeeping seem a little patchy, with me being provided with one bath towel one day, and no hand towels the next. Nothing major here. I had the room above the disco and it can be heard even though I am on the top floor, 3 floors up. But being a late sleeper and I was back late anyway, it did not affect me much.
“Quiet location not far from Airport”
I have used this hotel a few times the night before a trip as it is only a few minutes drive from Manchester Airport. One of the rooms we were using had been renovated and the other hadn't. The renovated room was a big improvement. The hotel is in the process of renovating all the old rooms, so when this is finished, it will certainly improve things significantly. It certainly provided everything we needed for an overnight stay.
“Pleasantly surprised, although not convenient if using public transport.”
Unless you are staying at the hotel for a quick escape to Manchester International Airport, for which there was a shuttle, or are traveling by car, I would not stay at this hotel. The hotel is fine and the staff is pleasant, but it is not convenient to Manchester City Center if using public transport. Although the bus stop is near the hotel, it takes quite a while to get into town.
“Good budget hotel in Manchester”
Great reception staff and lovely pool/sauna/spa/gym area available at a reasonable cost. The hotel is very close to bus links to the centre of the city and situation in a pleasant area. Room was very comfortable. Restaurant area not so good, with very dirty carpet and staff shouting at each other in the morning. Only other gripe was that the magnetic key card system failed daily while I was there and I had to keep going back to the reception to fix the problem.
