“Bolton's best value”
Very friendy and helpful hotel. Good food in evening at good price, Excellemt breakfast : made porridge! Stayed here once before : recommended, Good position near M61 and Middlebrook (shopping). Quiet country views.
“Better than expected”
This hotel ticked all the boxes for us. It was near the town and handy for surrounding areas e.g. Bury, where we enjoyed the steam rail trip. Lovely room, - although bedside light did not work.
“Good Quality Hotel”
Stayed one night in this hotel and was very impressed. Room was modern, lovely and comfortable easily matching the quality of much more expensive hotels I have stayed in. All for a fraction of the price. This is a quality hotel at budget price - perhaps due to the location (Bolton). But an excellent base for the North West and the best value for money in the area I have experienced.
“Good value”
About as good as you can expect for the money you are paying. A bit worn down but not dirty.
“Cheap & Cheerfull”
If your looking for a couple of nights in the area a good place to stay, no frills just practical. Friendly elderly guests and a cheap bar what more could you want for that price.
“Good Hotel”
Good hotel, friendly service. Comfortable rooms at a good price. Good breakfast buffet - but a little expensive at ten pounds per person if you are staying on a room only basis.
“Comfortable place to stay at a good price”
The staff were helpful and polite. Good location if you know the area. Room was comfortable and clean. Can't complain for the good price. Would recommend to others.
“Tour Group Hotel”
Formerly a Holiday Inn, but allowed to deteriorate. A bit run down but adequate for a one night stay ( we were there for 5 nights)
“Terrible Service Even for the Price”
This hotel was terrible even given the low price. The staff was downright rude and I didn't see a smile the entire time I was there. The neigbourhood is not nice and the hotel itself was sketchy. I wouldn't stay there again even if it meant paying more money to go elsewhere.
