“Perfect place to be....”
We enjoyed our stay at BSA. Special mention for the staff, they were so helpful and courteous at all times. The Hotel is very close to everything such as Church, shopping, eating places and taxis are available 24/7.
“we will definitely stay in this condotel again”
we are very satisfied with our stay in this condotel.for the price we paid, it exceeded beyond our expectations.
“Will definitely go back”
Just stayed for the night before heading to the airport the next morning. Very convenient to shopping and only about 200 pesos taxi ride to the airport. Directly across from Greenbelt shopping mall complex. This hotel is a great value in a great location.
“BSA Makati July2008”
The hotel has a very nice location in middle of Makati. The staff were accomodating. But the room was not in great shape. It was clean, but leather sofa had small ripped seat. The bathroom had leaking floor, which they later fixed after we complained. There was no hot water, and the toilet flush was getting stuck on our second and last day. The airconditioner was old and low powered and only in the bedroom, with only open ventilation space and fan in the living room. The kitchen supply was to a minimum. This used to be good hotel but maintenance was very poor. They also charge extra for internet access and the only plug was in the bedroom, wi-fi was not available. Good thing we only needed the hotel to sleep 2 nights for a few hours only while in Makati. If you are checking out early in the morning, do all the paperwork the night before, otherwise, prepare to spend time before your departure.
“Location is the only Plus”
If location is your only preference, go for it. Otherwise, not a comfortable stay. The room had a depressing decor with old furnitures. Breakfast is not even worth trying ( never tried a single morning during the 5 days stay). Reception staff not very professional. Airport transfer charged at three times the cost of a a normal Manila taxi although advertised as "services to spoil you" under facilities section of BSA website.
“decent for the location”
the size of the rooms and the location were the best part of this hotel. no frills furniture and kitchenette. the furniture was clean, although many stains on the couch and chairs. the a/c worked well, although LOUDLY. right across from the greenbelt area so plenty of choices for food and entertainment. skip the breakfast, not too impressive.
“False Advertising”
I was exciting when I booked a room in this hotel. Not only that I got it at a discounted price, the place looked great. The location is perfect; close to the airport, mall, park and a variety of restaurants. Not to mention the city of Makati itself is the business center of the Philippines. When I checked into my room, I was immediately impress. Fully functional kitchen with kitchenware and silverware available. Nice comfortable sofa and not to mention the amount of space. The only downside is there is no wi-fi. And the air condition wasn't strong enough for the entire room so you literally have to sit in front of the AC to get comfortable. But what bothered me the most was that I was looking for a hotel with a swimming pool and fitness center. Although this hotel did have a pool and a gym, it was available ONLY FOR THE OWNER!!! I felt so cheated because those were very important to me. So if you do not care about a hotel having a swimming pool and a fitness center, this would be perfect for you.
“great location,reasonable rates”
great location, next to the greenbelt area. youc an walk Landmark ,glorietta, sm rustan's shopping area ayala museum, shangrila hotel
“Poor service, aging rooms, but good location”
Just giving you the details of my stay... Room is clean, but sort of old fashioned and musty aged smelling. No access to the balcony, the door is sealed shut (for safety reasons). There is a kitchenette - fridge, microwave, stove, sink, dishes, dining table. My free breakfast was simple - toast, egg, slice of orange -- plate wrapped with plastic wrap and left at my door. Location is perfect. It is directly across Greenbelt Mall with all the restaurants, shops, banks, atm, salon, etc nearby. To Divisoria 168 mall, it cost me about $20 usd to get there so I figure about 15 mi but about 45 min drive in their crazy traffic. Another $20 to get back to Makati. Hotel staff is unfriendly. They are ever so perky on the phone but uptight at their counter. They are obviously unhappy with their life and taking it out on the guests. They never smile, not even the dang doorman. I point this out because everywhere else around there, the people were so polite and ready to help you. This service apartment is probably not equipped or staffed adequately to serve short-term guests. Staff attention to detail is lacking -- I just checked in at 10pm and they were already pounding on my door at 8am for room service! So, if you don't give a rat's tail about good service and eye pleasing room decor (don't be fooled by their photos) or amenities, but want a good location, this is your place. I'll definitely try another place on my next visit.
“disappointing”
We had a large room at a very good price. The hotel is in a very good location. The room we were in was not well-maintained at all:bug in the light fixture, paint peeling off,no power outlet for stove, one pan for kitchenette, bathroom sink leaking really bad it flooded the entire bathroom, I also could not eat the breakfast they provided in the morning, it was just not given any thought at all. This is whats disappointing, the hotel has very good potential but is wasted due to poor maintenance. Sorry, but the front office staff needs to be better trained; no acknowledgement of our presence even if we were standing right there in front of them, did not even bother to look up, did not even check if all issues were resolved and lastly upon check out did not even ask how our stay was. Really simple things that were missed out that could have made a lot of difference; gestures that could have made you forget about the poor room condition.
