“Great size, location and”
THE GOOD: This hotel's location across the street from the Citibank Tower and just a few blocks from the Shangri La Hotel and great shopping at the Glorietta and Greenbelt malls was a perfect place to stay. The apartment was very comfortable and the 3 BR unit had 1 king-sized bed, 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, a complete living room and dining room, a maid's room, 3 1/2 bathrooms in the bedrooms and main living quarters and a separate complete bath for the maid. The master bathroom is massive with whirlpool tub, separate shower and a "wing" of walk-in closet space. The unit also had a full-sized kitchen which was nicely-equipped and a laundry room in the apartment. Front desk staff was friendly and attentive whenever we needed assistance and the included breakfast buffet was perfectly adequate with different selections on different days to relieve monotony. This place was not built to be a hotel, but a building of apartments for long-term living. A great option with kids. THE BAD: The room was cleaned nicely every day, but the cleaners NEVER left additional shampoos. We waited days until the bottles were down to the last drop, then had to ask. They were then promptly delivered. The whirlpool shot out a shower of black fungus when we turned it on. The great free internet worked well, but was only located on a cable in the middle of the wall of windows in the living room with no desk or table nearby. We had to move a desk from a bedroom to make this a viable option.
“Huge Luxorius Room with Small Anoyances”
I was upgraded to the Penthouse Suite. The room was spectacular, but there were still issues. There is no air conditioning in the bathrooms. In order to bring down the temperature, I had to prop open the door with my suitcase. The only place with Internet int 4000+ square feet was directly under and air conditioner, making this a warm place to work. There is no desk lamp. These may seem to be small points compared to a huge room with ample luxury, but it is frustrating to have to deal with small inconveniences.
