Clean, good location, nice view--but pay for WIFIPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Clean, good staff, high floors, excellent views.
Cons: free in-room wifi!
Location: Good location near burgos ave, one of manila night life centers, many restaurants, bars.
The rooms were clean, they put on me on a high floor on request with a nice view, friendly staff, and the location is excellent, right next to Burgos ave, the nightlife center, while still being quiet. The only drawback is wifi is free only in the reception. In the rooms you have to pay starting from 100PHP for each hr, if you work a lot that's almost 1/2 the price of the rooms! Otherwise, good value, I would totally recommend it if they had free wifi in-room, as other hotels in this price range do.

Hotel is nice enough, staff was very nice. Think I may try something different on my next trip.

The Isabelle room I stayed in was an executive suite with 2 beds, one of the beds was more private within it's own room and a door. It was clean and welcoming, the staff were very polite. The one complaint is that the beds were very firm to hard. One bed I'd rate as the very firm, the other one, which I slept on was harder than firm - it felt like a box spring with just a fabric covering. Surprisingly, I did sleep fine on it, however.

Cons: Slow elevators
Location: Right in the middle of the bustling city
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.I booked two rooms and couldnt get them side by side. So they gave us the second room directly one floor above us, which wasnt so bad. The computer and internet in the lobby was a lifesaver

A good, practical hotelPosted Apr 4, 2013
Cons: the big steps getting up to, and down, the lobby.
Location: not the fanciest neighbourhood of makati but nevertheless very accessible.
Location wise, the hotel's quite accessible. There's a church nearby and the closest mall is only a few steps away where a supermarket, ATMs, money changers, photo shops, travel agent, hair salons, restaurants, etc can be found. To improve it's 2-3 star rating, the hotel can use some repainting and touch up.
