“Very Good, But...”
This hotel is one of the most comfortable and managed hotels in manila. The restaurant is a pleasurable experience I would recommend. The only complaint is you can't get out and walk to any place very easily. If you are staying in manila and you don't want to walk easily, I would stay here.
“Great Hotel at a good price.”
Upgrade to the traders club on arrival. Its worth the money.
“Will be returning soon”
The Hotel had a recent refurbishment and I was fortunate to have one of these rooms. Previously the rooms appeared tired and dated. Now they are modern and very well pointed. Staff were as ever very courteous and helpful. It was a nice surprise to be remembered on my return. I would definately go back. On a negative it is annoying to be disturbed for Housekeeping but perhaps the DND Sign would be good to use. Yet again I have absolutely no complaints about my time there and look forward to returning.
“Would be happy to stay here again next time I visit (this year? next year?)”
My fiancee and I felt the hotel package is unbeatable, especially the economy these days. We felt welcome and relaxed while here.
“I won't choose a star over this one!!!”
This was my first time traveling anywhere in the world and it was the best experience. Room service was about the same cost as taking a taxi out to eat...so the pricing was very reasonable. The location is very close to the mall of Asia, the manila air port, US embassy, and a few other small malls. The hotel itself was very clean with very responsive bag handlers, room service, and house keeping. Security was AMAZING; there was at least 3 armed guards in the front with a German Shepard and metal detector, a few more guards inside, and a dead bolt + latch for added security in your room. The only complaint I had was the poverty around the building. I felt really bad for them but I also felt a little unsafe leaving the hotel grounds.
“5 Star Hotel on a 3 star budget”
Outstanding hotel. Right on the waterfront with easy access to anywhere. Superb facility and extraordinary service all at a great price.
“Very nice hotel”
The hotel staff was very nice at all levels, the room was clean and comfortable, I ask for a non smoking room and was put in a smoking room. The floor had a lot of cigarette burns in the carpet, the TV didn't work very good, otherwise the room was okay
“good for overnight stay and close to airport”
room was generally clean, but carpet and drapes needed cleaning.
“A Fine Place Close To Manila Bay”
The best attribute of the Manila Traders Hotel is to be close to the famous Manila bay, whose sunsets are legendary, and rightfully so. It is also right in front of the Manila Cultural Center which was offering a remarkable cinema festival at the time of my stay, which proved very convenient. The coconut palace, one of Imelda Marcos' freaky, wasteful creations, is at a walking distance as well. The hotel itself is a quite a standard one. The bar and coffee shops are pleasant locations where to spend time at leisure. The coffee shop offers internet services with their own computers. The staff is friendly and the prices reasonable. The hotel room could have been better kept. The breakfast restaurant is standard as well. A good experience overall.
“Quality operation”
Hotel is located just off Manila Bay with good view of water. Service is excellent, rooms are tidy and clean, desk staff is helpful, restaurant is good. I received a complimentary upgrade to "Traders Club" on second visit, which included free cocktail hour and free breakfast. Would recommend hotel for business or pleasure visits.
