“Al Fassia Hotel was a winner!”
It's located a short taxi ride south of the Big Plaza, Souks area, tombs, and the two palaces. Everyone at the hotel spoke good English and French, were very accommodating, and the rooms were so nice. We also had a delicious dinner in their restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel, and would stay there again when in Marrakech.
“THE BEST IN MARRAKESH”
SUPERB HOTEL EVERYTHING PERFECT PLUS THE RESTAURANT IS THE BEST VALUE FOR MONEY IN MARRAKESH WITH WONDERFUL FOOD OF THE BEST QUALITY
“Class!!!”
This Riad is Fantastic. Its in a great location with the Medina a short taxi ride away or 30mins if walking. The service we got from when we arrived to when we left was faultless! It felt like home, which for me is indeed high praise. You have to try the restaurant onsite too- we did and were amazed by the quality of the food. Highly recomended.
“5 * Riad”
Great riad, brilliant service and best of all, the best food in Marrakesh. This Riad shares the same owners as ultra chic, 5* restaurant by the same name in Central Marrakesh. We stayed at the Riad only for 1 night (New Year Eve) and couldnt have asked for anything better. Highly recommended and would love to go back and stay here again. The ONLY downside is the distance of the Riad from the Railway station. We had our return train early in the morning and because of the location of this Riad, we had to agree to pay MAD 100 to the taxi driver in the morning when it shouldnt have taken us anything more than MAD 15 during normal business hours.
“A wonderful stay in a great riad”
The Al Fassia Aguedal riad was a joy to stay in. I opted for a suite and was not disappointed with a large room with windows overlooking the pool and an enormous bathroom. The staff were fantastic and could not be more attentive - nothing was too much trouble. There is a beautiful courtyard garden and the restaurant was so good we ate there twice. The only drawback is that the riad is about a mile from the Medina (the distance is easily walkable and taxis are plentiful and cheap) and I knew this when I booked. But what I had not realised is that the surrounding area lacks character being a mix of new hotels, a Carrefour shopping mall, building sites and open wasteland - I am sure this will improve in the next 5 years but it felt remote and I would preferred to stay somewhere with more going on nearby.
“great palce for a break”
the hotel is a short taxi drive from airport and the centre and within a new development, with a cinema and a hotel/ conference centre nearby. The hotel houses a great resteurant with the same name. staff very helpful and pleasent. Would certainly stay there again. We visited in November 08.
“Simply bliss”
i booked this hotel simply by reading what others had said... and everything was true. The hotel was stunning. Our room was beautiful (we had an upgrade as we travelled out of season) and the staff were very attentive, polite and friendly. The restaurant attached to the hotel was divine, so much so we ate there most nights.
“A fantastic place to stay!”
We stayed 3 nights at the Al Fassia Aguedal at the end of our holiday in Marrakech. It is a very beautiful, modern Riad in the new tourist zone on the outskirts of the city. We were lucky enough to be the only guests in the hotel and were looked after brilliantly by the friendly and professional team of staff - they could not have been more welcoming - serving mint tea and moroccan pastries on our arrival, delivering our luggage to our room and giving us an excellent tour around the guest house. Delicious breakfasts were served in the garden next to the swimming pool. Our twin room was very comfortable and really beautifully decorated in a contemporary Moroccan style. The restaurant attached to the riad is a very popular off shoot of the famous Al Fassia restaurant in the new town and served delicious food. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough. At the moment there is lots of construction going on in this area of the cirt but at no time did the building work disturb us. The location means that taxis are needed to get to the main tourist attractions in Marrakech but the staff ensured that we always paid a fair amount for our journeys and we never had any problems with booking transport. We had spent 3 nights in a traditional riad in the medina and done a lot of walking in and out of the city for sightseeing - our last 3 nights at the Al Fassia Aguedal provided the perfect complement to offering a lovely place to relax and unwind. I'd love to go back!
“Al Fassia Aguedal is a gorgeous place to stay.”
My husband & I went to Marrackech for a long weekend for our 3 year wedding anniversary so we were looking to be spoilt a little. We were certainly spoilt staying at the Al Fassia Aguedal! On our arrival the staff showed us to our room where they had left us a welcome fruit basket and a plate of Moroccan sweets. Our room was absolutely lovely - with it's own balcony, massive bed and luxurious bathroom with white fluffy robes and slippers for us to wear. Each morning we had breakfast set-up for us at a table by the pool in the garden. Breakfast consisted of freshly squeezed orange juice, moroccan pancakes and pastries and as much tea and coffee as we liked served by very polite and attentive staff. The hotel also has it's own turkish bath and offers massage treatments so we booked a traditional turkish bath each followed by a couples massage. The treatments we had were lovely and relaxing but it was all the little extra things the staff did that made it really special - the treatments rooms had been set-up with tea candles, there were essential oils buring and nice chill-out music playing. We both had a fabulous weekend and I can 100% recommend this beautiful hotel.
“Highly recommended”
I would highly recommend this hotel. Despite being a short taxi ride from the souks and central square, the riad is clean, well kept and one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, breakfast very tasty and staff went out of their way to make sure the trip was the best it could be.
