Do not stay here as not 5 star. Facilities crapPosted Dec 3, 2013
Cons: They were in my opinion a 3 star
Hotel was not a five star. Could not get room service to take laundry as that facility was not available. No internet in room WIFI or cable. Wifi only available in reception (this was vey far from room). Asked for couldn't get. Overall very bad experience we were then charged for change of room and were not told we were going to be charged until we checked out. I would never go back to this hotel. the management just do not care!.

Nice short breakPosted Jul 29, 2013
Pros: Room and Pool areas
Cons: Food and lack of actual proper bar in the evening
Location: Very convenient to go to the local markets
Really nice Room and clean. Swimming pool areas were really nice. Lots of sun beds and shade when needed. Music was good and the animation team were brillient. Very enjoyable aqua arobics The Food was a bit limited We were all inclusive we were not allowed to use the Jazz bar. One of the restaurants was closed. So the main option was the buffet We paid to eat in the italian one night although the food when we eventually got it was good , it seemed that they weren't really geared up for people to eat there. More like you were paying for someone to serve you than actually have a pleasurable meal.

Very nice resort a little outside Marrakech. Perfect for young children. Pool is very nice and the rooms are very confortable. There is a suttle to the Medina which is very useful.

Last Minute, Limited Options...It'll do!!Posted Jun 11, 2013
Location: 7km out of town / family friendly
As a last minute resort our stay at the hotel was ok. Good pool for all family members to enjoy. Hotel relatively family friendly. However disappointed that we had to pay for the Aqua park and the gym facilites, so none of us really went. I mean which '5*' hotel charges for using the on site gym. Anyways the food was ok. The fresh water melon was great and the evening entertainment after the first couple of nights became stale and repetitive. The schedule posted on the notice board was a sham as they barely changed the schedule each night. Mo magician. No belly dancers!! To tope it off the entertainment area is overlookg by bedrooms so ended by 11pm latest!!! So be ware you party animals who wish to party a little longer you may have to make alternative arrangements. Cabs into town cost 200Dh by night and 120Dh by day. Beware of the city tax and just short of 70Dh/night. This is NOT included in your Expedia rate!! I would say if you want cheap and cheerful look no further, however Marrkech is not cheap and at times not very cheerful. This was a lastminute limited choice booking, for those of you planning ahead there are other options in Marrakech Finally, so that I'm not ending on a negative note, I will say the staff were friendly and accomodating and made our stay that much more tolerable

Good hotel, problem locationPosted Apr 30, 2013
The hotel is large and generally well kept. The pool area is lovely and there are ample sun loungers and space - well, there were for us but we went at the end of April, it may be different later. The non-stop loud music around the pool was annoying [not just my view, the two 21 year olds I was with felt the same!] The main issue with the hotel is that it is extremely far from anywhere. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance apart from a tiny kiosk selling water and soft drinks. If you are not all inclusive, you have nowhere to go to eat in the area at all. So, you either eat in the hotel [high prices and get a bit stir crazy!] or go into the town. There is a free shuttle bus to the Medina, but you need to get tickets in advance and it sells out quickly. Taxis are 180-200 dh each way, and this added up quite a lot over a week.. The Medina is v confusing for finding restaurants, but the new town is more accessible. So in total, fine if you are all inclusive and happy to stay in the hotel and take your chances with a seat on the minibus [a great service, BTW, albeit limited.] A calm and pleasant location away from the bustle. BUT, isolated, nowehere to go in the area and expensive on taxis if the shuttle is full.

Our stay at the Eden Andalou 5 star hotel.Posted Apr 24, 2013
Pros: good entertainment by the animation team and a good view of the Atlas mountain.
Cons: Resturant food was very repeatative
Location: Location was very good
Hotel is about 15mins from the airport which was great. Met by the animation team who booked us in and gave a tour around the hotel later. Found it a bit odd that the reception staff at the desk did not book us in. The reception staff did not speak much English and did not see any customer relations desk there. Very disappointed that there was a charge to use the gym and the gym was not spacious. Restaurant food was very repeatative not much choice, tables were not replaced with cutlery's after being cleared for the next people to sit and eat at the table. Enjoyed the view of Mount Atlas from the hotel. Great entertainment by the animation team Amina, Sarah, Mohammed, the 2 Hassan's every night and during the day, but the bar was very smokey where people are allowed to smoke in the Jazz bar. There is a charge of 4 euros per person plus tax every night of your stay. The driver who took us for the excursions did not speak a word of English so please be aware that you ask for a English speaking tour guide. My phrases to the animation team and their commitment.

Suitable for all age groupsPosted Mar 8, 2013
Pros: Size and space in both private and public rooms.
Location: Out of town in a quiet area.
Although previous reports on this hotel have been less than flattering we found no fault during our short break in early March. The staff were welcoming and their English adequate, bearing in mind their main languages are French/Arabic. The hotel was clean as were the rooms. We were on a B&B deal and breakfast was good and varied. The free hourly shuttle to town ran promptly and was a useful benefit for an out of town hotel. There are many restaurants in and around the town centre and visiting the suqs is a must. With the kids club and aquapark I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and would think it suitable for all age groups.
