“best holiday ever..”
The hotel staff are all brilliant! and you can tell that there really trying there best, the english is very good with some of them and with the ones who struggled in communicating went out of there way to to translate in other ways.. the hotel rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, the pool area is nice but can't say the water looked to pleasing to jump in.. we only had breakfast at the hotel which was basic but lovely, saw some of the evening food when heading out and was really very impressed! the location of the hotel is brilliant! it's 15min walk to the medina (you don't feel unsafe at all walking around at any time) and easy to find.. do try and walk to the local places rather than taxis as you'll get to see alot of the local places to which look basic but the food truly is spectacular!!
“Cool Place”
Hotel is situated about a 25 min walk from Marrakech city centre, near the bus stop (by far the cheapest method of transport. Small pool outside which catches the sun around midday for a few hours, the breakfast was a little dissapointing with just bread on offer (croissants, choc croissants, pancakes etc). But plenty of lovely cafes within 300 meters that serve great 'panini au fromages' !
“Single Females BEWARE”
French speaking male staff member made two unwelcome advances towards me. I strongly advise women who are travelling without a MALE partner/ friend to stay elsewhere.
“Cheap and Cheerful”
The hotel is fairly central and you could reach the marketsquare within 20mins. Breakfast is basic. The receptionist speak good English and is friendly and helpful. If you are a light sleeper then watch out for the music outside.
