“Best location in town!”
First trip to Marrakech and having toured the city, this hotel is by far the best location. Don't get fooled into the larger chain hotels which are in the new part of town as you'd be away from what Marrakech is all about. The hotel is perfect for rest and relaxation, the restaurants are great and overall the service was good. But the fun starts when the sun goes down and you walk around the corner to the square (Jemaa El Fna); the sights, sounds and smells are intoxicating. Definitely recommend the hotel although first impression of the mini suite was a little disappointing, would have been nice to have a balcony or outside area to sit however there are plenty of chill out places around the hotel. The Piano Bar mixes a mean cocktail too!! We'd go back again - that say's it all!
“Great hotel in Marrakesh”
The hotel was great! Large room with a sitting area and great view of the mosque. Great pool and Indian restaurant on the rooftop. Great location near square but in a quiet area. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
“Excellent hotel and perfect location”
After hedging our bets and deciding to book this hotel in the heart of the 'Old Town' we were taken aback with how good the hotel actually was in terms of services but even more so with the location. It was literally 50 yeards from the Mosque de la Koutoubia and also about 100 yards from the place de la Fmna. The restaraunts had great quality food and after reading up on the hotel, I found out that 2 of them were voted in the NY Times top 10 places to eat in Marrakech. Just next door to the hotel is a great Thai restaraunt called the Nawarma which was very expensive but well worth it in my eyes. If anybody has been thinking about going then I would recommend this hotel everytime.
“Excellent hotel in fantastic location”
This hotel is ideally situated within 150m of many attractions of Marrakech. It has warm friendly staff with excelent facilities - you must try the Spa and best massage we've ever had!Roof top pool has great views and easy personal service from bar/snacks. Best Indian restaurant in the town with roof top views.
“the hotel made our stay a fantasy rather than an ordinary trip.”
the hotel is a greathyde a way, its location enabels to go to the souk and the square easily, and to come back to the coolness of the spa and the pool during noon time, when it is too hot to walk around
“Fantastic hotel, fantastic location”
One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in a long time. A welcome retreat from the hustle a bustle of the medina and we were so grateful of the two swimming pools especially when it was 40 degrees outside. You would never guess that you are so close to the Jeema El Fina as the hotel has a wonderful sense of tranquility and the staff do everything to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Whilst it may not have the traditional characteristics of some of the more popular Riads, we couldn't have asked for anything more from the hotel and would gladly go back.
“Beautiful safe haven in the middle of the medina”
Only a stone throw from the souks and the busy place Djemma el fna this hotel is a lovely calm place. Nice big pool (both downstairs in the courtyard as well as on the roof), exceptionally friendly staff.
“beautiful hotel, great place to stay”
beautiful hotel, excellent central location. calm haven from the busy outside medina. full of western luxurys, which may not suit all for a traditional north afician experience. but for us this hotel made our stay.... hotel has 4 pools- 3 outdoor and 1 indoor ( in the spa) a great heated pool on the roof terrace, excellent appointed sun loungers, clean towels( as many as needed). 4 restaurants- all very good- especially the indian on the roof terrace. Breakfast lovely, very fresh and good to set you up for the day. We had a mini suite. lounge area with great terrace to get all the afternoon sun, and huge TV, large bed, and lovely dressing area-and bathroom, but no separate lounge (attachd to bed area)
“Le Jardins De Le Koutabia”
We found this an excellent choice - well located near the main square. The hotel whilst quite new does not feel corporate or twee Moroccon. Very authentic for a hotel of this size. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the hotel was reasonably priced and the quality of food was excellent. We went in October so still able to lay around the swimming pool but the water in the pool was definitely too cold to swim in! Marrakech was fantastic and we will be returning next year and would stay in this hotel again.
“Perfect location”
Really enjoyed this hotel. It has a central courtyard with a swimming pool around which are restaurants and 'random' soft furnished rooms where you can lose yourself with a book if you want to escape the bustling streets of the medina. Great location, two minutes from Jemma square to the right or to Mohammed V avenue to the left. Despite its central location the hotel remains an oasis of calm. Great restaurants, an excellent piano bar and good service throughout.
