"My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was truly incredible. So many amazing restaurants within a walkable distance, which we preferred since we didn’t have a car, and Whalers Village has a ton of great stores as well. Would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone and is extremely family friendly."

"It was so very clean, constantly saw people cleaning. If we hadn't had other plans to do things, we could have stayed at the hotel enjoying the beautiful pool and ocean views. The front desk staff was very accommodating- we needed 2 double beds vs 1 king and they quickly helped us with that."

"The location is excellent and having direct beach access is definitely a major plus. Unfortunately, the property itself is in need of significant improvements. Our room had a strong humid, musty odor that was very unpleasant. We had to sleep with the windows open because whenever the room was closed up, opening the door would bring back the heavy smell immediately. The walls and carpeting also appeared worn and unclean. While the location is wonderful, I don't think I would stay here again unless the property undergoes substantial renovations. That said, the staff deserves special recognition. Every team member we encountered was friendly, professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. They provided outstanding service throughout our stay. I would gladly give the staff 5+ stars, even though the condition of the property fell far below expectations."

"Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The only thing was we did pay for an ocean view, which from the smaller bedroom you and from the window perfectly, however from the main balcony had to really step over to the one corner to see it. We found the vibe to be relaxed and peaceful. We would recommend this hotel to others."

"This property is across to the beach and lots of food options close by. Staffs are super friendly. Jamila, staff from the pool are super helpful and friendly. Always smile and treat us like families. Same as the staffs from the shuttle service are always nice. Free shuttle within 3 miles is super convenient. Definitely will come back to this hospital."

"This was the most incredible stay! I cannot even express how incredibly gorgeous and breathtaking the property is; everywhere you look it is mesmerizing. The staff was top notch, the amenities were so great, and the breakfast was lovely. We looked at many resorts in Wailea and I can confidently say that after staying at the Andaz there is no competition. We even ate at the Four Seasons and were not wowed because we just loved Andaz so much! LOL The only thing we didn’t love was the Alfredo and Parmesan fries at Andaz but everything else was pretty tasty. The room was also fantastic; everything was fully stocked daily if you requested them to service your room. There is even an Ohana lounge after checkout that has showers, complimentary drinks, etc. which was incredible for us! We checked our luggage and enjoyed the property alllll day because of that additional lounge access amenity. Paddle boarding on the ocean and the outrigger was also so cool, and there were so many different options of water equipment that you could easily check out even without booking a session. I have to say this was 10/10 and we have already discussed making Andaz our yearly getaway. It is unmatched. What a perfect and romantic getaway, ugh! I am sooo sad to even leave!"

"The room smells moldy. Now I have a respiratory problem. Hopefully it goes away soon. Was really bad mold smell. How can you keep renting it out. Mold and ashtray smell. You can hear the water dripping between the shower wall and sink. Probably why smells moldy. Noise during night, sounds like a helicopter all night outside the window, was loud enough to keep you awake. Front desk staff during check in was very nice."

"We had a great time. Wonderfull place! Just the pool needs some maintenance."
