“A Great Place to Stay”
The beautiful grounds of the hotel are meticulously maintained. The housekeeping staff kept our room neat and tidy. The staff as a rule were helpful and friendly. The beach in front of the hotel was fantastic. The hotel does "nickle and dime" you though. $9 a day to park my car at the hotel? $9 a day for internet that isn't even wireless? Such things are included with a stay at just about any hotel but not here. The food in the restaurant was ok but not great. The Tiki Bar was a nice place to have a drink and the bartenders were very nice. The Tiki Hut (fast food by the bar) was not very good at all. The pizza was horrible.
“Great Experience”
When I booked this hotel I had researched it first and new what to expect and wasn't surprised about anything I hadn't seen or read. The staff was extremely friendly. The hotel grounds were well groomed and clean. The room was very comfortable and clean. The beach was also very clean with plenty of open space. One day I will return to Maui and won't hesitate to stay again.
“I love it!”
Great place to stay. The employees are all very friendly and make you feel right at home.
“not the biggest but it was the best”
this is are thrid time to Hawaii in the last 3 years. we stayed at the hyatt and sharaton Kaanapali was the best by far, from the time we checked in to the time we left the staff was their to make your stay great and it was. We checked in and really wanted a different room with a better view they gave us two more room the pick from. they had things to do to better understand the hawaiian cultrue that didnt cost anything. they have a show everynight that you can go have drinks or dinner or just sit and watch. the Tiki bar and snack bar had good food that without the high price. the pool was small but you took your lawn chair under the nearest tree and relax you didnt feel like 100 people cramed around a pool, you can have your own space. We will return this was a great place to relax
“Can't wait to go back!!!”

“Kaanapali Beach Hotel”
My husband and I loved this hotel. It is not modern and the rooms are not luxury accomodations, however, the grounds are truly beautiful and lovely and the location is extraordinary. Even though our room was dated it was still spacious and comfortable. We remarked several times that if we were to come back to Maui we would want to stay at the Kaanapali because of the grounds and the lovely nightly beautiful music.
“Love Kaanapali Beach Hotel and it's location!”
We have been to KBH twice before. We love love their location! You can walk to black rock to snorkel and then the Whaler's Village for dinner. Their grounds are some of the most beautiful we've seen! The beach is awesome. Definitely will be back!
“LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

I will be there again next Oct...............................
“Ka'anapali Beach Hotel”
The seafloor of the beach just past the wavebreak is hard lava with pot holes and drop offs, so bring your reef shoes (and be a good swimmer, because there is no life guard). The ocean was also too rough to swim in (in the morning in January), because of high surf the majority of the time that I was there. There are a lot of reef fish near the black rock, but the rough water in winter makes it a somewhat difficult swim out to see them. But the location was pretty, and the hotel had an authentic, Hawai'i of the1930s feel to it. Very romantic setting. Be sure to see the cliff diver at twlight light the torches on the black rock and then dive into the ocean. Of course, it is a short drive (10 minutes) to the historic whaling town of Lahaina, and their harbor.
“Can hardly wait to go back.”
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was just my daughter and me and we always felt safe. The room was comfy. The music and dancers at the Tiki Bar every night was wonderful. The staff sang us a little going away song and presented us with leis on our last day and made us feel very special. We will go back. The location was great as it was close to Lahaina and easy to get to.
