“Well priced hotel close to Victoria Market & city”
Staff were most helpfull on a number of occasions.Their knowledge of Melbourne Public transport system was spot on. Breakfast (Continental or full buffett)was very good. Skybus from airport stops and picks up at the Hotel.
“special occassion”
Had a lovely stay and a vey good sleep hotel staff very friendly, we were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversay we had stayed at the Ibis before with our 4 children a couple of years ago, so it must be good if we came back, so close to the vic market which is definitely worth a visit great location, we'll be back :)

Excellent location, right near Vic markets. Excellent service. Buffet breakfast was great. An enjoyable stay.
“Excellent hotel”
Fantastic location only short walk to markets, free tram and train station. lots of cheap and excellent restaurants nearby. Rooms are comfortable and clean,no noise even tho there is building right next door. Great variety of food at breakfast . Very helpful front desk staff ,only concern was the lifts are very slow during peak periods ie weekends and check out times Will use again when Im in melbourne
“Nice budget hotel, but exorbitant in small ways”
The hotel is a nice budget hotel with friendly staff. The only irritants are that everything other than the basic room is priced quite exorbitantly. For example, there is no free wifi nor internet in the room, nor the common areas. It is charged at 55c per minute up to a maximum of A$27 per day. Even local calls are charged. The hotel has no parking facilities, but plenty of free street parking are available at night. Overall a nice budget hotel, but be aware of costs involved for all other transactions.
“GREAT HOTEL”
Hotel is ideally situated on the edge of CBD and close to all public transport. Hotel was quieter than we expected considering it was close to Victoria Parade which has trams and heavy car traffic. Room was clean and well maintained. Would recommend the hotel.
“Great location for visiting the city.”
Stayed there for 4 days in March 2012. Position is excellent, right on the edge of the CBD so everything in walking distance but still quiet in the rooms. Staff were all lovely and reacted quickly to any requests. One or two minor maintenance problems but nothing to worry about.
