“great service”
the hotel is truely value for your money.i especially liked their breakfast and dinner menues.i would defnately be back in a heartbeat next time im in melbourne.very convieniently located and service was impecable.

Friendly, accomodating staff. Room was clean and beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Location excellent, walking distance to Melbourne CBD attactions.
“Very Satisfied Customer”
I found the staff at the hotel extremely polite and helpful. My room was comfortable, if I needed anything I just had to ask. It was nice and quiet, no street noise which I was very pleased about. It was serviced daily and if I didn't want that all I needed to do was to put a "Do not disturb" sign out. I would have liked to have had shower caps provided and probably "real" milk. I opted to have breakfast at the hotel each morning and there was a very good choice of cereals and meusli, pastries to a full cooked breakfast. My room had a view towards the Yarra River which was nice. I feel the only thing that let this hotel down was the Restaurant. I would like to see it refurbished. It was a large space and the tables and chairs were too close together. They should overhaul the menu and look at presenting their food in a better way and have a better variety of vegetables. It doesn't need to be fine dining but it should be better. But in saying that I would definitely go back and stay. The location was perfect for what I wanted to do.
“Wonderful experience”
We had a wonderful experience at the Oaks on market, our room was neat and tidy.. The staffs were really helpful, the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the free tram service..

Great location, clean rooms – slightly renovated (not totally modern but not old either), very comfy beds/pillows. Prepaid breakfast for $15 is good buy – great buffet selection. Will stay again.

Oaks on Market is in an ideal position with trams so close, 3 blocks to shopping in all directions, casino on southbank within a 10 minute walk and all the lovely streets and laneways for eating and drinking. I would highly recommend Oaks on Market and this is the 2nd time we have stayed there and will be staying over and over again each time we visit Melbourne. The breakfast is great.
“Comfortable and convenient”
We loved being so central. Walked everywhere. The room had everything we needed without being over the top (and paying accordingly). Staff were very courteous and efficient. We would definitely go back.

A wonderful place to stay, comfortable, clean, quiet and fantastic views over the city. Close to all trams, buses, and the action of city all in walking distance.

My daughter and I stayed four nights at Oaks on Market in Melbourne. The apartment was clean, tidy and spacious. The location was excellent being within easy walking distance to city centre, Eureka Tower, Crown Casino etc. A tram was available nearby to the Melbourne Zoo which also went passed the Victoria Markets. Taxi to Tullamarine was only $55 which was reasonable in peak traffic conditions. The meals at the restaurant at Oaks were very nice and reasonably priced. Swimming pool, spa, sauna and exercise room were all excellent.
“Spacious, well appointed, central but quiet”
The apartment rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Spotlessly clean. Market street is a quiet location but very central - just a short stroll to Flinders street station, trams, riverside walks, lots of shops and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely go back and recommend to others
