“Good Location”
Perfect location in Chinatown and easy to walk everywhere. Tourist Bus and Tourist Tram stops are close by. Woolworths supermarket is 1 block away. Studio room is quite dark. Lighting needs to be improved. Bathroom/laundry is excellent. Kitchenette is adequate.
“a great place to stay”
I appreciated the friendly folk on the desk... I loved that there was a teapot in the kitchen and blankets, not a duna on the bed. The little balcony to let fresh air in and a wonderful location overlooking the small square.
“The hidden gem off Little Bourke St.”
From the time we arrived at reception we were very happy. The location in the little lane off Little Bourke St. Was just perfect. Our room was so spacious and tastefully decorated. A small balcony was so pleasant to retreat to for some fresh air and to be able to enjoy the characters of China Town. Staff were pleasant and helpful in all respects, cleaning staff obviously have pride in their work.. Our room was a twin bearded one which suited us as mother and daughter and came with a spa bath. This was the only draw back of our experience. To use the shower it was necessary to climb into the spa bath which for an older person was difficult. So easy for the arrangement too be changed with a walk I shower. We would not only recommend this little charmer but definitely stay there again.
“In the heart of China Town”
After a bit of a trek up and down two blocks trying to find the complex, we were pleased with our choice. The studio was spacious and well fitted out with huge bathroom, well stocked kitchenette, nicely decorated room. The bed was comfortable and pillows great. There was a little noise at night, but we were there Friday & Saturday night, so it was to be expected. Amazing choice of resturants on your doorstep; area felt safe.
“So comfortable”
I stayed at the Punthill Little Bourke for 2 nights, in a 1 bedroom apartment. I was pleasantly surprised about the size of the room, and how comfortable it was. While it was no luxury room, it provided everything I needed and I could have stayed there for ages. I wish that I had been aware that the room also contained a DVD player, as I would have brought some movies with me. The location of the hotel is great. It was about a 10 minute walk to great shops, and is surrounded by restaurants. I recommend the Dumpling Bar which was about 1 minute walk away. There is also a food court across the road.

The hotel was near to the theatres and situated in Chinatown. Close to shopping and good restaurants

great location and generally quiet for central chinatown location as located in pedestrian area. Staff helpful and friendly. Easy walk to tourist tram and free bus around city. Dropped by airport shuttle at door. Round the corner from theatre and restaurants at every turn. Only suggestion is more comfortable pillows and maybe another chair for sitting at table. Would definitely go again.
“Totally impressed”
Would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Clean, secure, fabulous location in the middle of China Town, walking distance to theatres, trams, restaurants and shopping. Despite being in a busy area it was quiet and the apartment was very well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again.
