“Not the usual tired old Hampton Inn”
I was very pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and freshness of this hotel. It was a wonderful diversion from the ususal tired old Hampton or Quality Inn. It had tons of character and was homey but also up to date.

The hotel was great, if you like peace and quietness. The night staff was awesome. The day staff didn't have much to say or talk to you about anything. The breakfast staff was very nice. It was a very clean hotel. Not much to do at the hotel, but it was relaxing.

Overall this hotel was nice. Really have no complaints other than the location. The location is horrible, but once you learn to navigate around it, not a problem. It's situated between two busy roads. My suggestion is go on mapquest and see what I am talking about. What we did was exit off on Ridgeview Rd everytime to get to our hotel to avoid the confusing turnaround you have to do everytime to get into the hotel. Staff was always courteous. Never had the breakfast buffet as it was only open until 9:30 every morning. The bathroom is small, but being an older hotel that has been remodeled, its expected. I didnt care that the bathroom was small. I don't sleep in there. Also no fan in the bathroom, so husband would make a stink down in the lobby bathroom. lol. Bed and pillows were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, now knowing how to get around the area. Rooms were clean and affordable.

Great hotel on the edge of the City , the trains at night blew there horns a lot made hard to sleep , but not the hotel fault .

I checked in, the front desk clerk Deadrick was delightful. As we got on the elevator, one set of doors jarred so bad it seemed as though it was going to come off the track. The room was awful. The socket fixture in the restroom was loose away from the wall, the floor was moist so everytime we walked in our shoe prints were on the floor and (I initially thought because it was warm but it wasn't that warm because we didn't have same issue when we moved to other room), hair was on the bathroom floor. The feathers were coming out of the comforters everytime you moved the covers feathers were everywhere. There was a old red stain on the bed skirt that obviously didn't come out when it was washed. I could initially deal with that, we stayed the night and awoke the next morning my 4 yr. old had a swollen eye and something had to have bit him and there were bugs in the window area where the heating/air conditioner was. I called the front desk, Erika was pleasant but, she asked if I wanted to change the room or "HAVE THEM SPRAY" REALLY! I don't have bugs at home so I don't expect to have them when I stay away from home. I asked her to take a look so she could see for her self and document it. I stayed at a Sheraton in Ft. Lauderdaule in February and the room was immaculate with no issues. This was totally unacceptable. I will never stay at a four points or maybe even a Sheraton again!
