“very nice”
my family had a wonderful time. Will visit again
“Clean and comfortable”
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Brand new flat screen tvs in each room.
“Hotel was clean”
The hotel was clean and very close to the airport as well as reasonably priced. We would stay there again.
“good place to lay your head.”
Only problems were a slow draining sink which would take take several minutes to clear after washing hair or brushing teeth. Let staff know first morning but did not get worked on the few days we stayed. Also bathroom door would not stay closed. Otherwise, comfortable place to sleep. Staff did keep room clean each day.
“Bring a pillow!”
We had a room with double beds the pillows were small, flat, thin, and uncomfortable. I only slept 3 hours the first night. I was at the southaven wal-mart at 7am the next morning buying a pillow. Bring yours if you want to sleep!
“It's cheap for a good reason”
We just needed a cheap place to stay half way home from New Orleans and this hotel filled our needs. We got in late and left early the next morning. This hotel beats sleeping in a roadside rest area.
“Nothing fancy - poor customer service”
Pros: This hotel is situated right off the interstate so it is an easy ride to/from Memphis. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and large flat-screen TV. We felt safe while staying there. Room was pretty inexpensive. Cons: Hotel staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm (check-in time) and had to wait nearly 45 minutes outside of our room because housekeeping was still working on it. We had dinner plans in Memphis at 5pm and still needed to shower and get ready after a long drive in the car from Louisville. Since we were on a time constraint we explained the situation and asked if there was another room we could move to that was already clean. The answer was just "no there is not." There were no apologies made for the inconvenience of the room not being ready until 45 minutes after check-in time. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful for the remainder of our stay (in comparison to other hotels I have stayed at throughout my life). The room APPEARED clean but upon closer inspection was not all that clean. There was a large brown stain on our sheets that was not from us. The carpet was very dirty as evidenced by the brown discoloration of our feet after walking on the carpet barefoot. Bottom line: I personally would not stay here again. However, if you are looking for a place to sleep that is inexpensive and an easy ride to Memphis it is acceptable. You can probably find better, though.
“Not Clean!”
This hotel was not clean. We found a used washcloth that had been left in the bathroom and the toilet seat had most definitely not been cleaned! Yuck.
