“Excellent experience”
I booked this hotel through expedia partly based on other traveller's reviews. We stayed 2 nights. Our stay was a wonderful experience, great value for money, friendly, helpful staff. The bar/restaurant facility was excellent and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet (2 complimentary /room) was excellent with lots of variety. We had a rental car, and went to downtown Miami one day, about a 15 min drive. There is lots of shopping within a 5 min drive. We were very pleased with this part of our vacation, and would certainly return another time.
“Great value and location.”
Rooms were very clean and spacious although the facility is older and in some respects needs a good facelift and cosmetic attention. I could not find a thermostat in my room so evidently room temp is controlled elsewhere. Staff members were polite and courteous. Breakfast was great and included!
“Bargin Price for Quality Place....”
Fantastic location, near many main highways in Miami. Found getting to this hotel very easy. The room was nice & large. The staff was very friendly, but some do not speak much english. Pool was refreshing. Very close to hopsital. Has tennis court although we didn't use. They have an area with coupons for surronding buisnesses which helped us decide what to do with our days while in Miami. Breakfast was better then expected. However if you have more then 2 people in your party you will be expected to pay for the extra people. Which seems fair. The staff was very friendly in the restaurant.
“Would stay again”
The room was large and clean. The restaurant and the quality of breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The location was convenient to US1 and the expressways.
“Nice.”
This hotel had a 2 minute walking distance to the hospital. The room was very large and comfortable. The pool was nice. The spa had no water in it??? However, it wasn't a big deal to us. The restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast is fantastic. They have a cook to order omelette chef right there at the buffet. The waitress was very nice to us. Nice and quiet and that's what we needed.
“A place to chillout from the Miami heat”
An excellent location far away from the hustle of the expressways but convenient enough to join them and get into Miami Downtown or the Beach. The hotel has several wings, we stayed in Egret which was easy linked to the main section where breakfast was served, this was not included in the price but excellent value as you could eat well, hot and cold food with chef prepared omlettes to your own liking. Good swimming pool and towels available for use around the pool. Friendly and helpful staff.
“Well position for the price”
I think this hotel just needs to have some food and drink service and it would be a huge hit. Room are bid and very confortable. Lacking a reading sofa or chair but i saw in the pictures that there was one; maybe they are being upholsterd. Love the location
“Family Friendly Fast Service”
This hotel is located next to a major hospital in South Miami. My family has stayed at this hotel two time this year and have been amazed with the service. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is very efficient. The room is very large and included: walk in closet, dinning table & chairs, living room area with couch and chairs, large bathroom that is spotless, and your choice of a king size bed or two double beds. Our best experience is in the resturant. We have eaten breakfast their each stay. The waiters are friendly and go the extra step to make your meal enjoyable. My son is handicaped and they make a special effort to make him smile. My son wanted the fresh fruit with yogurt for breakfast. When served his orange was cut and arrainged in wedges to look like Mickey Mouse. All the fruit was cut in bit size pieces. I could never write enought good comments about the hotel and the staff. ENJOY!!!
“Great for hospital visitors”
Kendall is very convenient for Baptist Health Hospital visitors as it has a regular shuttle to the various wings and is really walking distance anyway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well air-conditioned and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a few minor problems (elevator down button not working, ice machine not working on some floors) but by and large it was fine.
“Great Quality for the price”
The staff was polite and courteous. Several don't speak English, but they make up for it with the smiles. I was pleasantly surprised with the the quality and cleanliness given the price.
