This Miami Beach resort has one- and two-bedroom villas decorated in a contemporary nautical style. Villas offer separate living and dining areas, wet bars, microwaves, refrigerators, and cable TV. Cappuccino's Coffee & Treats - Open daily, early morning until late evening, the coffee shop serves snacks, pastries, chips, gourmet coffee, treats, and soft drinks.
Pelican's on the Pier - Located directly over the ocean, Pelican's on the Pier serves seafood, a raw oyster bar, hamburgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and soups. Lunch and dinner daily.
Recreation
The beach and outdoor activities are the focal point at this Miami Beach seaside resort. Guests can relax under giant palms on a private, shaded stretch of beach that includes a children's playground and a basketball court. Covered cabanas, tiki huts, and water-sports equipment including WaveRunners are available (surcharges apply). A huge sundeck includes an outdoor pool, a spa tub, a children's pool, ample sun loungers and towels, and a poolside bar.
Newport Beachside activities include sand castle-building contests, diving for coins in the pool, and poolside bingo. The resort has two game rooms and a fitness center.

“Best Hotel Ever !!”
The hotel was gorgeous and the services were wonderful !! They had wait staff on the beach serving food and drinks. They had entertainment at the hotel lounge every night. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The beach staff was great ! They had lounge chairs they would take to the beach for us. The tiki huts made it very tropical ! I want to live at this hotel year round !! I recommend this hotel to all.

“Nice Beach Experience”
Upon arrival, I didn't know what to expect. I pulled up in front of the hotel near valet parking and no one acknowledged. It wasn't until my boyfriend signaled for someone to come over that we found out what we had to do first. We walked into the GORGEOUS lobby and checked in. This took about five minutes. Afterward, I had my car valet parked, since I didn't think it was worth saving $6 just to park across the street behind the gas station. When I got to my room, I found that it was right next to the elevator. I later discovered that this was not an issue...I heard no hallway sounds at all! Very pleasing. My room was clean and smelled nice. The view was nice. I didn't have an oceanfront room, but I did have a view of the beach and the hotel's parking lot, which allowed me to keep a good eye on my car! Lucky me! My favorite part of the hotel was Kitchen 305, the hotel's restaurant/nightclub. Definitely a good hang out spot for all ages, 18+. Very diverse, and the food was great! They're all you can eat lobster on Wednesday was to die for! There was a pool and jacuzzi, but I didn't want to get in because I saw pigeons bathing in the pool earlier. The pier was shut down due to reconstruction plans. That was a bummer. This place is not anywhere close to the Aventura Mall, but the location for the price is definitely a plus. I enjoyed my stay!

Resort and staff top notch, friendly and very helpful. Have stayed at many hotels in Miami area and decided to try one a little north. Beach clean, hotel clean not one complaint. Manager of Newport Beachside Resort, MR. V., has taken this property to a new high.

“Enjoyed my stay!”
I thought the hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful with the little grass huts, and an entertainer playing steel drum music kept us jamming by the pool...so relaxing. The only thing in the description/amenities that isnt correct that I was extremely dissapointed by, was the lack of the nightclub/nightly entertainment. Overall, a great hotel at a great price.

This hotel offers friendly service and many fun activities. We will be back over the summer for sure.

My son, my brother in law and I stayed in a two bedroom suite, found everything well maintained and found the staff courteous and helpful.
