“Great Experience”
Great Location! walking distance to restaurants and shops and overall gret beach experience as they provide chairs for lounging on the beach. Great walking and biking path on the beach, also resonably price parking! Would definitely go back
“Great Experience at that hotel. Will definitely go back”
This hotel was great.. It was a total of 4 in the room...The room was equipped with a full kitchen which saved us some money... The beach was near by, it was clean and beautiful...The hotel had BBQ grills, volleyball court in the back...Everything was great..The front desk people were very nice and I loved the fact that I called them to bring my car in front when we are ready to go out..... SoBe is 10 minutes away...Bal Habour mall is 2 minutes away....Everything were great and lovely...I had a good time in surfside... There are lots of restaurants on biscayne blvd which is not far from the hotel
“Great”
My friends and I tremendously enjoyed our stay at the Solara Surfside Resort. The condo/suite was very spacious and had every amenity in it that you could possibly need to make the resort feel like home. The entire staff, with the exception of the housekeepers, were extremely nice and accommodating. The hotel is at a great location in FL near the mall, super market, shopping strip, and the beach of course! The only downfalls were that the elevator broke while we were there and so did our DVD player however, those problems were quickly resolved and the front desk staff accommodated us for our inconveniences. I would definitely stay there again without any hesitation!
“Clean & Spacious on the beach”
Fantastic service, Super clean and spacious. On the ocean. Chairs and towels provided. Also has a nice clean pool. About a $40 cab ride from the airport and from South Beach. Close to upscale neighborhood with shopping and restaurants you can bus to for $2. Also another area of shopping and restaurants is walking distance too. Hotel staff is very informative and helpful.
“Solara”
I travel all the time, this place is a keeper. Rent a car for going out to eat and site seeing. balcony rooms are hit or miss.
“definitely would recommend”
clean, quiet (15min drive north of south beach), quick access to beach, swimming pool, bbq grills, hamacs, jacuzzi, gym, laundry, kitchen, etc.. what else can u ask for?
“Enjoyed our stay”
This is a nice art-deco style building a good bit north of the art-deco "district". It's a smaller building than those adjacent. I guess it's a time share or something like that, we dodged the sales pitch accidentally because we arrived very late. We had a nice one bedroom with small living room and a decent kitchen. Everything worked and was well kept, although the elevator broke one day. Fortunately they fixed it in under an hour. The staff was very friendly, in a sincere way, and helped us with whatever we needed, they were great. The valet guys worked very hard to help people unload and get the cars parked or back to the pick up fast. Parking was about $6 perday, I think, call if you need to know. The beach is right there of course and there's a pool too. The bed was comfortable. We would definitly go back.
“Surprised but Satisified”
We was not aware that it was a timeshare hotel. They rewarded us for attending a optional timeshare presentation. No pressure to signup, just some gentle sales encouragement. It is a nice clean affordable hotel with good service and friendly staff.
“one night stay before cruiseing.”
Wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel pool and beach. Nice to see barbques also ready to be used by the guest. We got in late and had to catch a cruise the following day. Would have been nice to have had an extra day to enjoy the facilities. Family friendly also.
“Great stay!”
My only complaint was that the bed was too hard but other than that everything was wonderful. We checked out and stayed the rest of the day and was treated just as wonderfully as when we first checked in. We had 2 adults 2 kids and an infant and can't wait to go again!
