“A Great Place to Stay in Milan!”
The hotel is in what looks like a slightly 'run down' location, but it's not particularly far from the Duomo and we didn't feel unsafe at any time. Plus, en route to the Duomo, you will find many clothes stores (with pretty reasonable prices) and cafes. The rooms were quite small, but we didn't spend much time at the hotel so we didn't really mind. The staff were very friendly/helpful though, and the rooms were cleaned well. And while there was some outside noise (even though we were situated on the 5th floor), surely this is to be expected in any city? Breakfast is your normal continental buffet - with yoghurt, toast, cold meats, hot sausages and cereal on offer. I'm vegetarian and so stuck to toast, but there seemed to plenty of choice for most people. All in all, i was very satisfied with the hotel and if i had to return to Milan, i'd definitely consider staying here again. Lastly, you have to remember that Milan isn't like Rome or Florence, so if you're looking for typical Italian charm this probably isn't the place for you. But if like me, Milan's one of the cities you'd like to cross of your 'list', then this is a great place to stay.
“Fabulous and centrally-located”
I thought this place was great. Located a little ways south of the Duomo, it's easy to get to by public transportation, clean, comfortable, and the included-breakfast is fabulous. I highly recommend!
“Very pleasing”
This hotel was very well priced and considerably cheaper then most this close to the centre of Milan. The rooms, although small were extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a lavish buffet comprising eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries, cakes, fresh and preserved fruit, cereals, yoghurt, juice and tea/coffee/hot chocolate. As a family travelling with two young children (aged 6 & 8 years) we found this very affordable and appropriate to our needs. Additionally, secure off street parking was available. Highly recommended.
“Very nice but small”
The Hotel was very clean with a nice view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only downfall is that the room is very small and tight. It's close to the Metro and if you're not planning to stay there for more then a couple days its it good place to stay at.
“Creature Comforts!”
The hotel is located in a lovely residential(albeit graffitt-riddled section of town (I understand the graffiti artists are generally a plague in this beautiful city). Our room was small, spotlessly clean, functional--no plush frills. But it had the biggest/nicest shower we had on our trip and the AC actually worked! We were going to skip breakfast but it turned out to be a veritable banquet we couldn't pass up! Again, best of our trip. If you're looking for charm the Milano Corso is not your place. If, on the other hand, you're wanting a quiet, comfortable stay at a reasonable price, I highly recommend you stay here.
“perfect - stayed another night - best area”
this is a gem - great location in an area where all the locals in the know go - great cafes, bars, food within 5 mins - less touristy - really quiet room - great beds - stylish - best find in milan
“Newly renovated”
Very new furniture, especially the bathroom. Huge selection of breakfast
“Place to stay with kids”
I have two kids aged 3 1/2 and 6. Obviously, they are still too young to stay in a hotel room by themselves. Besides this hotel, there was only the grand hotel with the suite for EUR 800 to accommodate me and my family. Besides, for us it was a perfect hotel, a small breakfast buffet, centrally located.
“Definitely will go back.”
Overall everything is very good; staff friendly, room clean and quiet, warm and full breakfast. Good value for price.
“Would highly recommend”
A really nice hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the room, whilst not the biggest, was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was rellly comfy and the views of the city from the sixth floor were stunning-seeing the Duomo lit up at night was great. Breakfast had lots of choice and was good quality. It was an easy walk (20 min) or tube ride to most of the key spots in Milan
